Not to mention I offered countless times to retire him and was told over and over “he was fair game to everyone”. I forget how I acquired him but I do remember not many others were interested in him

I think you signed him. Shel signed him first then he was deleted and fucked the database up so he was re-added. Then it was fair game.

My memory isn’t the best about stuff like this but I’m fairly certain I didn’t have him very long

I remember like Chicago or someone like that had him and then he had like a half of a shitty season and he put him on block and I acquired him for peanuts then he went nuts for me for like next 5 years

Ah yes. But Chicago owner was definitely cheating so I think that’s why he originally dealt him.

This was Wu I assume Dave was talking about Cyborg.

But yea, I got screwed on Wu. I signed him. After I signed him, it was decided he'd be deleted. That caused a huge game issue, so we went back in time but I got hosed by him not going back to me. It was decided he'd go back to the free agent pool, which made no sense as he wasn't a free aren't at the time, then Bernie signed him after that.

Wu was the one who got deleted, fucked things up, and had to be re-added. Thomas was edited by shady Gabe

There was definitely a reason why he didn't go back to you... I'm thinking it was due to the last saved file that I had access to being prior to the signing? Really not sure. All I know is it made no damn sense that you couldn't just remove the player and it was certainly a crash course in OOTP. I think I spent more time learning about OOTP in those first 3 months than I did actually working.

Yeah... IFA gate, Wu-virus, LOLcats... pretty sure OOTP took 2yrs off of my life IRL... but at least y'all are on '72 in the digital realm!
