Bulldogs are coming apart a little each sim, our pitchers are all over the place. right now the meter is leaning toward being a seller before the trade deadline, just have to figure out who I need to let go of

2 late inning losses in Washington. 2-4 sim could have been 4-2...

My pitching is soooo bad. Like sooooo bad. Every single one of my batters who starts is above 100 OPS+ which should be a good thing. Sucks we cant pitch to save our fucking lives! Can the injured squad hurry n heal? thanks boys

Dillonvale goes 6-1 this sim taking 3 of 4 from the Habaneros and then we sweep the LOLCats!
SP Scott "Ratbreath" Tuck came out firing strikes and when the game ended, the Predators hurler had struck out 1 in leading Dillonvale over the Chicago LOLCats 1-0. Tuck allowed just 1 hit in the ballgame.
In our next sim, we have a 3 game series vs the Ohio Fighting Amish and then a 4 game series @ the Honolulu Surf Dogs.

Spitters take advantage of their week with Indy and Texas.
Morse still struggling but Thomas is dealing and the hitting started to come around.

5/29: Sheltown Shockers @ Cincinnati Titans - Loss, 3-0.
W: H. Hogan (9-1) L: P. GarcĂa (7-1) S: M. Kelley (13).
HR - None
Straight from the "You've Got to be Shittin' Me" news.
I wouldn't even sweat it, looking at the new development report, 2 reports in a row I'm regretting this trade. Your 2 guys are going up, my 3 guys keep going down.

No idea what you saw in Duncan. I should try to find that IM, because it totally threw me for a loop when you said something to the effect of Hogan being like an 'added throw in' on the deal and you were focused on Boyd/Duncan. Boyd is going to be fine... Hogan, idk wtf that is all about... and I never thought Duncan would see my starting rotation... ever... even if 3 guys got injured.

Duncan was a higher potential rating, 63 or 65 ish when we made the trade. Had solid ratings, slightly better than Hogan per my scout.
Now, Duncan is a 51 potential.
He's basically a waste now. So it's a 2 for 2 trade. Boyd and McMahon seem pretty similar, but Perez looks to be a beast. He was 68 pot at the trade, now he's 73. And Hogan, I'm not quite falling fo the 9-1/2.00 ERA. He looks like a solid addition, but not quite as good as the 2 you got, nowhere near Perez.
These last 2 reports Ive basically gone 0 for 5 on the 5 guys traded...both reports.

You got me all excited to go look... this is what I've got...
S. Boyd: -3, -5, +2
- Definitely a loss on potential.. I never thought the Mov was going to last though, it rarely does.
H. Hogan: +2, -2, +11
- That +11 is starting to make sense with his recent surge. Kind of crazy, because that's exactly what I was waiting for from him and it never happened... and I was ready to write him off. Then he's traded and boom... there it is.
A. Duncan: +1, +1, -15
- I didn't realize his control dropped like that. I was making my comments based on him having high 60s Con Pot, just because his Stu was low and I had him for awhile. That's a bummer here. Either way, still don't think he was starting in the ML.
************************************************************************
M. McMahon: +5, 0, 0
- He's young... so I'm not putting much stock into his ratings for a season or 2.
E. Perez: 0, +2, +8
- His Con was already great, but I can't argue with a gain.
************************************************************************
Definitely in my favor from a ratings standpoint, even though you're winning the deal right now with Hogan Hulking up. I was very happy with this deal when we made it, mostly because it did a lot for me. I didn't like Duncan, I needed to move someone that was ML ready like Hogan... and I REALLY wanted an elite, young minor league stud like Perez. The only thing I didn't like was giving up Boyd, because I think he's going to be a career 3.5 ERA that throws a ton of innings every season. Basically the perfect #2/#3 SP.
(on a side note... that was really fun to do some research... been awhile since I got in depth on some players!)

Good stuff. The ratings are so hard to judge because I still think my "previous report" thing is all messed up.
For example with Hogan, I still see the +10 or whatever it is in control, but it also shows his last report as 8/1/2023, even though I know there's obviously been a few reports since then, so that +10 isn't really accurate based on the real last report.
I basically based it off of memory. But your numbers fall in line somewhat, if it isn't all 5 both times, it's pretty close, but at any rate, your winning the ratings change battle in a big way.
I know Perez went, based on POT by my scout, from 68 to 71 to 73. McMahon went something like 63 to 65 to 68...something along those lines.
Stupid Duncan!!!

I think over the last season, I had more conversations about trading Hogan than any other player on my roster. It seems like there are some very wild opinions on just how good he is/could be.

Considering Shel is beating up the AL and it's 2 former players from my organization leading the charge at the plate and on the mound... I'm thinking he's doing ok, lol. (not to mention McIntyre and Boyd, 2 future stud SPs on the way)
