Curry/Thompson have 14 points on 22 shots. CLE getting beat by Barbosa and Livingston

If you've watched live they have said this about 16 times. You win.

I'm actually ok with the way the Cavs played defense. They kept Curry and Thompson down a bit, and forced the bench/others to beat them. The bench/others did beat them, but I can't imagine Livingston and Barbosa shooting 80% the rest of the way.

Now the offense? Total crap. Lebron and Kyrie trading off hero ball attempts. Ain't gonna cut it.

Is this Cavs team better than the best Heat team that won a title?

Nah.

And this GS team is the best Lebron has ever faced obviously, which is why I think it'll be a quick series.

Hmmm... quick rotation breakdown...

Heat vs Cavs
Prime Lebron vs +3yrs Lebron
D. Wade vs K. Irving
C. Bosh vs. K. Love
M. Chalmers vs J. Smith
R. Allen vs T. Thompson
N. Cole vs I. Shumpert
U. Haslem vs C. Frye
S. Battier vs R. Jefferson
C. Anderson vs M. Dellevadova

That's kind of tough to breakdown. You can see the the Cavs play a bit bigger with Thompson getting minutes similar to Allen in the rotation. From a playoff stats standpoint, current Lebron and Irving are actually putting up better stats than 2013 Lebron & Wade (I picked this one over 2012 because of the awesome series vs the Spurs). The Bosh v Love comparison is fairly close with a slight edge to Love... but I think we all can agree that Bosh's defense is far better. The bench guys, in total, seem pretty similar as a group. I think there is potential to do a lot more with the Cavs bench... wider skillset. But I don't think the Cavs bench can touch the Heat from a defensive standpoint.

I think they are pretty similar overall. From a stats standpoint, the Cavs look really strong. But their opponents have been less than stellar so far. Defensively, the Heat team seemed far better. If the 2 teams lined up and played 1v1, I'd put my money on that Heat.

no.

the playoffs have really skewed the public perception of this Cavs team. they are only a slightly above average defensive team. and a really good offensive team that can be great when they hit 3's.

but the Warriors are a great offensive team and one of the best defensive teams in the league (although they have regressed defensively this season from last years almost historic d they had)

GS is better offensively and defensively... typically when thats the case it takes lot of anomalies to happen for an upset. whereas if one team has a defensive advantage even if they aren't as good overall they may be able to win based on style/pace. The Cavs hitting 3's like they did the first couple rounds would certainly do it, but the odds are they can't do that for a sustained period vs this d.

Even less likely given the way they changed their scheme and rotations.

Disagree.

Cavs may not even win 1 of the 2 home games. Ugly
