Then they took an awfully long time to spot the ball. And I figured out the Fox play clock on the screen was broken.

Pretty sure that's college. I believe the play clock resets before the ball is spotted in the nfl.

I noticed that too. I was wondering I that is why the Niners didn't run a play.
