Finally get on...CMU routes MSU 42-13. The defense actually stood tall today, holding both MSU's first drives to only FGs...then stopping them on a couple 4th downs! LaFavour had some mistakes with some INTs tonight...but still dominated as the defense didn't allow MSU to capitalize. Next up...Mich at the BIG HOUSE!

Memphis escapes a scare vs MTSU after a grat performance at Ole Miss. MTSU stuffed every run attempt for zero to negative yardage in the first quarter so Akelon Hall took the the skies. He threw fora school record 505 yards 6 TDs and 2 INTs vs the slow MTSU secondary.

Singleton cought 12 passes for 223 and 2 TDs.
Calhoun caught 7 passes for 139 and 2 TDs.
Chris Baker 4 for 81 yards and 1 TD.

Memphis had 14 rush attempts for -55 yards which included 8 sacks by MTSU. 6 of them by the DEs.

Good thing this was a D+ team otherwise it would of been a bad loss for Memphis.

So Matt and I tried to play tonight. We encountered BRUTAL lag at multiple periods of the game. As La Tech lines up for two, down 21-16....it does it again, but this time, we get disc.

So our game hasn't been played yet. We're hoping to get a replay in, if you can hold off Pengy if we haven't played, we'll get it in tomorrow as soon as possible.

Memphis handles the D2 Raptors in 2 quarters. Memphis jumped out to a 35-3 lead at half then simmed the second half. Apparantly the run defense of the Raptors suck. Becasue even with the Florida PB the CPU ran up 42 unanswered in the secondhalf without a single pass attempt.

Simply amazing game by CMU...
...sorry for the long write-up, don't read it if you don't want to...just too crazy not to share:

The defense came out to play at first, stopping Michigan's option attack. Then after being forced to punt, they sacked QB Forcier 3 times in a row to force the 3rd consecutive punt for both teams. LeFavour then went to work and CMU scored first on a FG 3-0 1st Q.
Michigan then turned it on and scored on an easy drive with an 8 yd pass to take the lead..and this seemed to change the momentum of the game. LeFavour moved the ball down the field, but was sacked for a 9 yd loss. Too close to punt, too far for a FG, they went for it but came up a yard short. However, Michigan was content to just run out the clock and take a 7-3 lead into halftime.

CMU came out moving, but failed on yet another drive and Forcier scored again to extend the lead 14-3. More sacks for LeFavour and frustration setting in again. Michigan capitalized with a FG to lead 17-3.

Not giving up, CMU's LeFavour leads a scoring drive with a 4 yd pass to cut the lead 17-10. Forcing a punt by Mich, CMU drives again, hoping to make this a game in the 4th Q now. After getting hit, LeFavour threw a pick on the 5 yardline. Luckily the defense held strong and forced another punt. Then after gaining 48 yards on two passes, LeFavour found a wide-open WR to only watch the ball literally pass through him....I mean through his hands, through his torso...and into the hands of the Michigan defender (who runs it back for a TD). Luckily there was holding on the return and Michigan didn't get the score.



..That kind of glitch almost made me quit the game...but I put my faith in my defense, and they stood strong again. Wasting no time, LeFavour put another in the endzone on a 13 yard strike with 1:15 remaining to tie the score 17-17. Fearing a late Michigan FG win, the kicker kicked it deep only to have Odoms return it for 42 yards. However, the first play the defense got their 4th sack of the day, this time hitting Forcier for -10yds. After getting 16 back, Michigan was forced to punt with 0:48 seconds remaining.

Two timeouts left, starting from his own 15 yardline, LaFavour had 0:38 seconds to be a hero...

I swear, if I get d/c from one more dynasty game, I might just sue EA/Sony...not sure how, but I'll find a way. LeFavour had a record-breaking game tearing up the Zip defense...and the damn server doesn't load up after the game

Does anyone know why this is happening/is there a solution...? maybe a certain time of day it happens..same thing happened last night too.

Anyway, I'll hopefully try to get my game in Friday after work...don't want to risk a simmed loss to Freakin' Akron.

This isn't bragging or anything....I certainly don't want anyone's games to be disconnected....but I'm in TWO online dynasty leagues and I have had ZERO ZERO ZERO games disconnected. Not a one. I have a cable internet connection, but it's not the highest speed or anything....maybe I'm just lucky, I don't know...but I feel bad that others are having problems...but it's not everyone.

yeah I dont have the probably either that others seem to have... Once I connect to the dynasty I dont have problems now dl the dynasty files have been problematic at times.. but not once I started a game..

No worries there...

I certainly don't have a speedy cable connection either, but it's solid I think. Unfortunately, I've had this happen probably a total of 10+ times including last year's game. I've also had it happen not just after a game, but after recruiting too (basically anytime it needs to upload something back to the server..I'll get where it takes forever, then says retry or try again later). If you try again later, that is when the information doesn't go through at all, so I always try the "retry now"...sometimes it works, sometimes it just goes back to that same choice and then you don't have a choice. I have noticed that if I quit out of the NCAA game, then I start the game back up again, I can get back in easily (but after playing a game vs the cpu, this is where you get SCREWED because you lose the game results)
I've seen this during an actual game versus a user opponent probably max about 5 times where it gives you that "please wait' message with the circling thing as the game can actually hang-up during a playcall screen. Once that starts happening in a game, it's only a matter of time before the server just boots you. I've only seen that in maybe two games for the 2010 game though.

Anyway, it is nice to know that it isn't everybody, but that just adds to the conundrum. Consider yourselves the lucky ones..

Ive always found it real interesting how people get DCed in OD games as well....considering I have done it for two years now and never had one D/C, except against a User one time.

It has happened to me like twice, once against a user and once against a user. Lost both games in the end.
