We're extolling our elite gamer skills...yet we need Heisman level to keep our defenses from being eaten alive on AA? Sounds like we need more elite gamer skills on defense. Using that argument, wouldn't going to AA help us get a lot better defensively?

I'm fine either way...I haven't played enough games still...only played 2 online. I'll trust whatever you guys decide.

its all good though, this league has been really good for a long time I am sure another good decision will be made.

How many you have played games with the weaker teams on AA and Heisman? Plenty of offense on Heisman with stronger teams, but when 2 C or lower teams meet in my experience (about 20 games played) I have yet to score more than 20 points or have my opponent score 20. Why are people scared of offense? I would rather have a 38-35 game than 13-10 any day, am I alone in that way of thinking?

i guess it's a widespread interest in this league mirroring the NFL.

Really my defense must really suck.. people dont have trouble scoring against me with lower end teams, in fact I go crazy when my defense cant make a play because they are too slow to get there.
Realistically guys no matter what teams we use and what level, as long as teams are fairly equal there should be no shortage of scoring, once everyone becomes comfortable with the game and finds a system they like.
The offenses if you look, are faster and better then the defenses on this game, which means once you figure out what works best for your O, you ll be scoring on defenses at a higher rate.

And the arguement is not we dont want high scoring games, the arguement is we dont want arena football games, with no sign of defense, cause 3 seasons of AA would turn into that eventually.

I dont even know why we vote on this honestly. This happens every time I was formerly in the NDL. Everyone has trouble early on scoring or throwing picks getting used to user control etc. By the time the 3rd season of the NDL comes for that particular year around everyone has their plays that work well in certain situations and about 90% of the league is a solid game on Heisman. Its always gonna be harder to play early on.

I have 2 games in the ladder alone where I was Idaho and scored 17 and 14 respectively. I played Florida International (45 points, ChampDizzle) and USF (37 points, MCX). I believe FIU and USF are both D ranked teams and they were able to score that many. However I did play with Nebraska once and scored only 14 points and held Georgia Tech (Outlaw) to 17 points. I think I see the problem here, I cant score more than 2 touchdowns.

Never said I was pushing for all 3 seasons to be on AA, my idea is to play the first season on AA and then we could move to Heisman for the next ones if people want to.

That may explain why I sucked against them

I voted Heisman. I believe the game is much more realistic after playing several games on each level. Passing isn't too hard on Heisman, and the running game can actually work. Defense on the other hand is much more realistic, and we won't see 56-49 scores as often as we would on All-American. I understand people might think the game's more fun when it's high scoring like that, but some people like realism too. I'm cool with All-American or Heisman though, I just think the league will be much more sim and fun if we stick to Heisman.

you scored 23 on me last time we played, albiet I think 2 TD's still but you still got the victory. It just takes time and patience. Great game but my starting QB did get knocked out early!

Voted, I have no offensive skills on either level so in that regard it didn't matter much to me. Heisman was just more realalistic defensivly so I went the Heisman route.
