Montreal Mounties: Received $162,279,967 in cash from the owner.
Toronto Aces: Received $59,868,982 in cash from the owner.
Boston Minutemen: Received $95,262,880 in cash from the owner.
this part of the game is slightly annoying since we cant 'choose' what type of owners we have .
Those numbers were adjusted though, correct?
nevertheless. I know they are cut down to 50 mil, but quite a few of us get 'nothing' through really no fault of our own
I am for the $50 Mil cap, but an owner giving money is like real life, isn't it?
If so, I am for it. Again, I like the cap though.

if you're 'for it' I don't get why you'd like a cap? doesn't make any sense. It isn't capped in real life as far as I know
I am for it, because it happens in real life, but I like the cap idea so that the rich don't get super "richer".
$50 Mil will not go nearly as far as $192 Mil.
Just my opinion.

its all relative. the rich are still getting richer...its just capped
Good for 2nd on the team, behind John Martin/s 59/147.
Though Marsh only played 109 games.
What are they drinking down there. Text me...I wanna talk some tradezz.
AAA ballpark factors!!!
Fwiw, Maritn was on the trade block all last season as he'll probably never make it to the bigs. Marsh will be on the Opening Day roster next season. He was last season but eventually got beat out by Jamie Armstrong who performed well vs lefties in the Bigs and earned his spot for a while.
They're biding their time for when Pig leaves, likely after this season.
JJ Taylor had a monster year and I know chics dig the long ball but I am a tad surprised David Hewitt did not win the MVP. 11 war and I can not believe a fuckin 10th round pick

Can we start a Winter Meeting poll that all owners are set to be the same fiscal personalities? It does suck when Montreal gets $50M and a team like Shel gets less than $1M, not picking on you RJ just pointing out a flaw in the logic here. And before anyone says in real life owners are that way, I counter that in real life a GM can go to another team as well, can get fired, is held accountable for their financial decisions......
It is just an unnecessary revote with different words for the discussion that eventually lead up to the vote last year on the owner's cash decision.
Prior to that poll we discussed how some thought all owners should be the same, some thought its unrealistic, and some thought getting money from your owner is part of the game and should be monitored and capped.
It's already posted so go for it but then we will be over riding possibly what was voted on last year and I am not a fan of changing things so quickly and often when it comes to finances and these types of items.
WAR isn't the only meaningful stat there is and Taylor leads in some more, Hewitt in others. That is all I am saying. The sarcastic smilie was the tip off. Missed.
