I had that issue a couple of seasons back. Ended up being the guy with a good attitude and everyone else was pissed

I don't like that in 17 defense and speed are equal parts it seems in the ratings. Cusack is like a 74 potential player according to this game which is not right.

In my opinion it throws off a lot of ratings. Maybe that is why scouting variance is so high! But then again you look at FUJI and he is an 80/80

The happy guy was the culprit. Demoted him to AAA and the team played better

Yea, basically if you don't have speed/fielding it doesn't hurt you that much if you're a great hitter. But a shit hitter who is fast and good defensively, it probably does overrate them on some level.

My scout has Cusack at blue potential, which is silly IMO. You can be blue potential without speed+defense, but I don't think you can be blue potential if you're a terrible hitter.

I mean how much is defense really worth? If he could bat like... .275 with .350 OBP that would be amazing.
