i went to the Marlins game today.

-left my office at 3:40, its about 2 miles from stadium. where we normally park is closed off (its a garage attached to stadium... brilliant)
-finally find parking about 1 mile away at 4:05 so i missed the opening stuff
-get to the gate and the security line is flying, they didn't even attempt to check anyone or use the metal detectors that were out there
-then i go walk thru the door and realize i never showed my ticket to anyone.
-then i go to my seat only to see its pouring out and the game is in a rain delay cause they forgot to close the roof
-then i find my brother and the other guy that was meeting me there and neither of them showed their ticket either

just a complete shit show the marlins are putting together there.

I went to the dodger game yesterday and went through three metal detectors and had to show my ticket about five times. Much different experience. Lol

i'm going to Marlins-Braves today. i don't like baseball but i'm not sure i've ever been to an opening day so i'm checking it out

When you factor in how much Kimbrel's value in the trade was negated by that albatross of a contract for Upton, the Braves DID win the deal. However, I still hate seeing Kimbrel leave :(

Was the right move, it just....really really sucks

The Marlins are so happy to have people there, they don't even care if you pay or bring weapons. As long as they have people on tv!

i like all competitions so its not really fair for me to say i don't like it.

but on my list of competitions i'd want to watch, Baseball is slightly below American Idol and slightly above hockey about 3/4 down the page

I used to love baseball, but I'd put it behind golf, poker, and hockey on the "watchability" scale for me

It was like a replay of the replay in real time. Matrix style or something.
