It is different.
With abstaining, he is acknowledging and letting people know that he is choosing to vote for no one.
A no vote means we do not know for sure if he knew it was happening.

the definition says this:
formally decline to vote either for or against a proposal or motion.

abstaining is choosing not to vote. Not making a decision.

Blank ballot is voting for no one. It is saying there is no one worthy.

There is no reason for abstaining from a guy that has been in the league at least 8 seasons now IMO.

It effects by indifference. If you abstained, Rojas may have been off the ballot

please show me where it is written in the rules that a abstaining is not allowed? are we running this vote under Robert's rules of order? are we making up rules as we go? Reign posted that if you didn't vote their would be a penalty. if I choose to vote to abstain, I am nether for or against anyone! I was wrong on where it was headed, except for your ranting. I thought for sure, you would just say "Blank ballot"

And I have no guy. I have guys that I would like to see get in. Like I told you in PM, when you were a member of the NDL, you were required to vote in polls and such. Think of it the same way. You have spent more time arguing about abstaining than it would take to go in and cast a vote. Toronto just voted in 9 minutes via AIM.
