There can only be 1 live daily tourney at a time. I will set up a new daily for Friday, Saturday and Sunday that will not be for leauge play.

I put a non league daily starting at 7pm tonight with some tough settings. Now that everyone is starting to level up their golfers and putting up some really good scores, I'm curious to see we do.

WOW!! This is not fun  I am +2 on the front 9.

What makes this even harder is when I cannot see my arrow where the ball is supposed to land or how the ball lie is, especially in the rough.

Just played tonight's daily.

Bad news, I shot +14. I had 20 putts on the 1st 9, and probably finished with around 38-40 putts total.

Good news is, I was remarkably consistent, shooting 4 pars and 14 bogeys.

But seeing that I didn't totally botch any holes with my low rated guy gives me hope.

After playing only 36 holes total, my personal preference would be turn to the green beads on but balance that with turning the shot shaping on advanced. With it off, it's way too easy to just hit every tee shot straight down the fairway.

I'm still confused as to whether there's a difference between XP or coins, i'm thinking no? It says i've earned like 2500 or so XP, and I just earned 915 on the daily, but it says I have 600 coins or so to level up, so the XP/coin thing is thoroughly confusing to me lol.

I hope this isn't that shot shaping stuff....I hate trying to swing diagoinal. I ve played many tournament tournament level tournies on the live tourny section.

Seems to me we go from very easy to very hard.

Tour pro setting perfect.... :D

You earn coins also as you play just like you earn XP. The difference is that you can use the coins to buy XP for your golfer, pin packs or courses.

I agree with you. Not a fan of the shot shaping at all.

Didn't get a chanceto oplay today's tourney though.

I think everyone is just going to have to come to the realization that this is a video game. You might be able to get realistic score from the top four or five, but if you are looking for competitiveness, the settings are going to have to go easier, not harder.

This last open tourney was good. I enjoyed these settings much more last night than I did earlier in the season when my golfer was a hacker. I still can't putt or I would have been about 3 under instead of 3 over.

I've enjoyed our settings and the game a ton even tho I suck.

the only thing I thought was dumb was the wind that Weasel and I played with.

That wind was howling wasn't it? I did manage to crank off some monster drives but it sure was hard to aim that far off the fairway when you had a cross wind. I usually got a good judge off downing though since he held the tee for almost our entire match.

I love not having the beads. It makes sticking it close to the pin even more important. You can read the green, you just have to move around. It may take a few holes to judge green speed but it can be done. I was -2 last night missed 4-5 putts just an inch off the hole. Frustrating, yes. But more challenging and fun and I wasnt having to hit out of the rough every second shot because of us making shot shaping more difficult.

I was way wrong, I thought this was going to be a you have to swing a certain way.

Perfect settings, this was tour pro without the beads on the green. I missed some putts, got into trouble on a par 5 and the hardest thing was hold the cursor on the ball. But love these settings.
