Yes Splashtop is both ios and google but I had already purchased it for my phone so not having to spend extra money is a huge plus for me.
I just bought my Nexus 7 a few weeks ago and have been looking for exactly something like this for my classroom. Mind if I PM you some questions Quack?

Niddler, all I said was that I don't understand why people would want a product where they were basically controlled on what they could or couldn't put on or do with their phone. I am all about open source, it allows for innovation and growth.

To each their own. I'm just waiting for the S4 now.

You know Android has apps on your phone that you can not take off right? Not to mention the fact a lot of android providers are using more and more complicated software in order for you not to be able to jailbreak them. You can change icons and have widgets on your screen, which is all well and good but I've found that a lot of these will freeze up my phone. I have never had an iPhone, but I have mac computer, laptop, iPad. The iPhone 5 will be my first iPhone. I'm looking forward to using a lot of the photography apps like Helix (will tell you were the sun will be in the sky at any given time), that I've got for iPad and iPod and actually being able to use them properly with the GPS.

You're missing the point. I don't mind if they put things on I can't take off; but I want the freedom to put whatever I WANT onto my phone. I can root my phone if I want to, but I don't want to--the reason I had to jailbreak my iPhone is to do what I just stated above. I've never had a widget freeze up my phone so I wouldn't know about that.

Again, to each their own.

Jailbreak it when it comes out for the 5. I currently updated my iOS and like it fine. However, with it jail broken I have the best of both worlds ease of use and complete customization. I think since ive owned iPhones,(generation 2) I've only not been jail broken about 5-6 weeks worth max.

This would have worked last week but we're ranked 11th this week. You'd need the iPad to see where Miami is with it's 1 point. All joking aside, I'm sure I'll need my iPhone5 to see where the gators are ranked at the end of the season. As much as the talking heads are saying they look good, as a Florida fan I'm not totally sold on the fact that they are back in contention.

I know this is a iPhone5 thread, but I just ordered two Galaxy S3 phones. Does anyone that have one regret it? I have 48 hours to cancel the order.

Same

Didn't you say you were the one that hadn't upgraded your phone in ever and didn't even have one with a camera?

Your mind is going to be blown

i have a blackberry with no camera, no internet access, no apps, no music, no videos. Just phone calls and an occassional text. It does get great batery life though. Oh and I have an alarm. I assume the Galaxy has one right? I am going to need one.
