4G is the tits.
Everywhere I read says the Skyrocket has teh better battery?jsence2 wrote:TheRealTray wrote:Thanks, looks good.shel311 wrote:TheRealTray wrote:I'm thinking bout getting droid, what kind shold i get? been thinkin bout the ps phone. or should i get iphone 4s??
Galaxy S 2 Skyrocket.
You're welcome.
Unless you live in a 4G area, I would get the regular Galaxy S2 over the Skyrocket, better battery life and better screen.

Also, our phone doesn't do 4g? I swear when I bought it the dude told me it did lol.
Wait, what's that? 4g?jsence2 wrote:It does (HSPA+)
jsence2 wrote:Bearass, call your provider and ask them to add texting. Anytime you switch to/from iPhone you have to re-add texting. $10 says your text message plan (and maybe your voicemailbox too) needs to be resetup.

I'm so confused now lol.
So my phone is now on 4g as of whenever ATT finally turned it on?
If so, my phone is definitely fast, but not noticeably faster, and certainly not 10 times faster like they claim.

Your phone can hit 4g hpsa+. But only the skyrocket can hit 4g lte (pure 4g)....which wont matter for 95% of us who don't live in an att 4g lte market.
Well shit, I do sometimes have a thing that says H+ with some arrows below. Sometimes the arrows are lit, sometimes not.jsence2 wrote:You should see hpsa+ and that's 4g. Just not 4g lte. Truth is, none of att's speeds are truly 4g.
Take the droid back and get a 4GS like you should have done in the first place.bearass wrote:Anyone know of a trick where I can enable my 150 dollar headset for IPhones controls to wOrk on this phone? Only button that works its answer/play/pause.
Downgrading seems a little silly.Seeitsaveit13 wrote:Take the droid back and get a 4GS like you should have done in the first place.bearass wrote:Anyone know of a trick where I can enable my 150 dollar headset for IPhones controls to wOrk on this phone? Only button that works its answer/play/pause.
You sell it on Craigslist and get a Bluetooth headset. Other than that, no. Never buy proprietary shit or you end up like a moron named Seeit.bearass wrote:Anyone know of a trick where I can enable my 150 dollar headset for IPhones controls to wOrk on this phone? Same issue for me.LetsGoPeay wrote:I'm having trouble with the AIM app on my phone. I'm not getting any type of notification, either audible or visual, when someone sends me a message. I don't know that one's been sent until I actually check the app itself and by then it's usually hours after the message has been sent. I've checked all the menus and settings and can't figure out what to do. Any help?
