I am not doubting that the SEC doesn't have great teams. But to say Auburn or Florida are any good because their losses are to only SEC teams is a joke.
Florida beat Furham, Florida Atlantic and UAB... that means jack shit
Auburn beat Utah State, Florida Atlantic and Samford... lost to Clemson.
You know what the best non-conference win for a team not named LSU, Alabama or Arkansas?
Tenn over Cincinnati
The SEC is complete shit at the bottom.
And yet it's still the best conference in the nation.

I have no question that LSU, Alabama, Arkansas are 3 of the best teams in the nation. They have own nearly every game and have a non-con marquee game to hang onto also.

I do, too. Over the years, I have seen arguments involving SEC teams where fans of whatever SEC team wants to point to a game versus Mississippi or Tennessee as strong points ... but nobody else can. Or they'll go, "Arizona State/Purdue/Big East sucks!" when those teams are on the same line, if not better than the average SEC team.

And the conference, as a whole, is better than any other conference and has been for some time.

yup, and next year it is 10x worse. EVERY SEC team plays 3 cupcakes without fail. LSU's toughest non-con game is Washington.

Just admit it, you'll feel better. [/quote]
nope, you're top 3 are, the rest aren't. the SEC is a product of it's scheduling. The middle of the pack has been shit for some time.
Go ahead, and give me the conferences better than the SEC in 2010, 2009, and 2008.
You could make an argument that the Pac-10 and Big-12 were better or on par with the SEC last year. In fact, I'll say the Pac-12 was better. In fact, our buddy Massey agrees.
I am rooting for Arkansas, Virginia Tech, Clemson, even Oklahoma. I do not want to see a game with TWO of Louisiana State, Oregon, and Alabama. That's just from an entertainment standpoint. It is amusing how two of the best teams in the country (Louisiana State and Alabama) have such eye-raising play at QB

It's ridiculous.
Hell, going back to last season, LSU 20-2, which is astounding considering how bad the QB play was last season. This season, Lee has actually been extremely good, except for 2 straight passes at Bama lol. he still has 16:3 TD:INT ratio, or maybe even 17:3.

Well, he is a fan. I admit, I had to go check because I wasn't sure. I knew Oregon played four ranked teams and, if you look at their schedules, they are indeed identical.
Trendon, can you tell me where you go for SOS? Curious to see the numbers. Here are a few I found
I have scoured a few websites and I know you are the master of info and data finding but from what I found, I havent found one site with org ranked higher than bama and I have seen a wider gap favoring Bama than them being considered identical.

And they could also get beat by twice as much if they play again.
I've seen this posted so many times and it is such a ridiculous statement. People who say or post it assumes that Oregon has gotten better as the season has progressed but LSU hasn't. LSU curb stomped them the first game of the season and might end up doing it again in the last game.
I've been busy watching the Kentucky basketball game on espn3 and watching ManU on tv, didn't want to watch Georgia massacring us....and I go to check the score, turn it on via espn3 and see Georgia kick a FG to make it 9-10. This is an utter shock.
EDIT: and then we fumble the kickoff. I'm gonna turn it off again now, bad luck I bring
