Mississippi State takes on the Tigers of LSU and send them home with a big loss, as the Bulldogs ride the legs of Vick Ballard to a 34-9 victory. LSU got into the redzone twice but got only two FGs, while Ballard tore up the Tigers' defense, rushing for 168 yds on 33 carries and 2 TDs. QB Chris Relf had a solid game, going 8/14 for 130 yds and a TD with a INT, and rushing for 42 more yds on 6 carries. The Bulldogs knew that LSU's strength was their ball-hawking secondary, so they kept them off guard with powerful running from Ballard that kept them ahead of the chains and negated the LSU blitzing.

We did advance last night. Next advance will be Saturday night, unless anyone asks for another 24 hours.

I had to restart my game right in the beginning cause I pressed quickly to confirm and start game not realizing my playbooks weren't set up for this coach.

as I play this game more and more I love it. I cut the lead vs Neb to 7 going into the 4th. Then Nebraska dominates the 4th quarter and pulls away at the end.

Arizona upsets #3 Oregon to pull even in conference play at 1-1. Total domination in the 1st half up 17-0. Oregon did not go quietly as they took 2 INT's to start the 2nd and quickly made it interesting. Arizona would stay calm and weather the storm as they say and hold on to drown the Duck 27-17.

As mentioned above this game is growing on me quite nicely.

Looks like Pengy just advanced us to Week 5.

Yes we did, and cnotes and Pitt defensive line just made my O-line like a powder puff team. So we will advance again by Tuesday night if not sooner, and I am off to search for a new playbook for usf as well.

Hawaii wins 42-38 over Lousiana Tech, winning on 60-yard TD pass on the game's final play.

Mississippi State overcomes a 21-7 deficit in the first half to win 38-31 over #19 South Carolina. Vick Ballard rushed for 229 yds and 4 TDs, including a 75 yd run on his first touch, and the Bulldogs won despite another poor passing performance from QB Chris Relf (13/24, 156 yds, 1 TD, 4 INT) as he kept overthrowing wide open teammates and made some bad decisions down the stretch. DE Trevor Stigors had a great game, recording three sacks including one to end the game on SC's hail mary attempt.

MSU now looks to be ranked inside the top 5 when the new polls come out, as they now sit at 7-0 with games coming up after the bye week vs Kentucky and FCS Southeast. If things fall right after those three weeks, it could be #1 vs #2 when the Crimson Tide roll into town....

chusker, im pretty much available the rest of the night or tomorrow anytime before 4pm. I have a firefighters softball tourney in cleveland this week. if we dont get it in by friday evening i will put myself on auto for you to play.
