Let me know how they turn out.

2 key things: get thick bacon, not some cheap crappy kind.

Cook them until the jalepenos are soft and not crunchy. You want them right before they get mushy, nice and soft.

You may need toothpicks to close them with the bacon on and when you stuff em but the cream cheese acts like plaster to make it stick too.
I tried this recipe last year, it was great. If you like hot stuff dont cook them as long, the longer you cook them the milder they will be. Great recipe....

No luck on the extra tickets Cory, sorry...... ;)

And then a week later the real football season begins.

I am very excited for Monday's BSU/VT matchup. Should be epic!

I'm also happy the Apple Cup is in Pullman this year. WSU will most likely get their ass beat but Husky fans are such faggots and Seattle can kiss my ass.

i understand why most people like college hoops over pro hoops (although i don't) but i dont get why people like college football better then pro football.

the postseason in college football is so fucked up that the season doesn't even matter for 90% of the teams. for example, i'm all nervous about this UConn-Michigan game, but in reality no matter what happens it doesnt make a difference for Uconn whether they win or lose. the only games that matter for UConn are the big east games so they can win the conference and get to a BCS game thru the auto bid.

and save the 'every game is the playoffs' bull shit, we all know thats not the case

pro's go out to the west coast and play like they don't give a fuck, while college players know every down is important for a future paycheck.

In addition, the rivalries & pageantry of college football make it so much more fan-friendly while the NFL has a cold feeling cuz they kill individuality (which the NCAA is trying to do) and there's too much suit involvement that takes a lot of the fun out of it

imo pro football is boring...super boring until playoffs..unless you have money riding on the games or are in some fantasy league there just isnt any real ummppff to any weekend

not sure how you dont see every game is a playoff

boise vs vt...week 1....im pumped for that game and i dont have an affiliation to either team except for maybe pulling for acc

its a playoff game for boise, same 2 weeks later vs oregon st

then in week 2 miami plays ohio st, fsu plays oklahoma

its SEASON IMPACTING for SOME team EVERY WEEKEND.

myabe im a little picture kinda guy instead of big picture but i just want my fins in th playoffs..dont care if they do it at 8-8 or 10-6

either way, nothing is REALLY on the line except for "momentum" in nfl until at least late late october.

the drama and unpredicability is better too, shit seems to happen every weekend where sat night you're like "wow" blah bah lost today or blah team's qb is out for the season and its HUGE..even bigger than on the nfl level

dunno, i tihnk for someone who likes nfl better like i said, its the action from gambling or possibly like in your case, you're MAINLy just converened about your team, so following steeler football may be more "exciting" than huskie football because like you said, you just want to win the big east

i think for those of us who prefer ncaa its more about ALL the games and rooting for teams to lose, pulling for the upset and pulling for a handful of teams that dont impact each other to do well.

imo of course :)

I am heading to the Marshall v. Ohio State game on Thursday night. I am really looking forward to week 2 since I have tickets to the Miami v. Ohio State game though. Just happy that college football season is back.

NFL players don't have guaranteed deals. other then the top 20% of the guys, each of them is fighting like hell to get a pay raise or a new contract or just not to get cut. if they aren't playing/trying 100% they can literally get killed out there... but because you read on some gambling website that east coast teams don't cover 65% of the season when flying more then 2200 miles you make ridiculous opinions that the teams/players 'don't care'.

in NCAA, about 300 of the 8000 college football players (rough numbers) will get a shot to make an NFL roster. most are crazy and think they have a chance to make it so lets say 4000 realize they have no shot of ever playing on sundays. so by your opinion, the guys who play for Notre Dame who are 2-4 playing out in USC are going to be playing harder then the guys for the 2-4 Jets when they go out west to play the Chargers cause they are trying to earn a paycheck but the nfl guys arent? gimme a break.

at BEST, its an individual thing. some players care and try harder then others becaue thats how they are created/taught from a young age. if you want to make that leap and base it solely on level of play (ncaa or NFL), then considering most NFL players careers are 3 years or so and they're trying to make a living doing it, i'd say the level of competition in the NFL far surpasses anything you see at the college level.

but i guess when Donovan McNabb takes the Eagles to Oakland as DD favorites and they lose by a touchdown then that must mean that they were trying as hard as ever and the embarrassment that wears silver and black suddenly morphed into the Colts. Fuck off
