See again it seems like people are hanging their hats on "Best games". Best games does not equal best rivalries....
If so then we could throw Houson and Tulsa in there but no one gives a fuck about them even though they put on a good show.
Rivalries has to do with the the entire "pageatry of the game." -RIP- Atmosphere pre and post game, what it means to the state, the fans and the overall effect it will have for conference and national implications. Anything less than that is just a good game IMO.

i'll put it this way, if there's something better than the RRSO, I'd LOVE to see it.
And my plan is to visit as many stadiums as i can before I die, but I've done the Cotton Bowl, Baylor, Ok State, TAMU and UT so far. Hoping to hit BC & UConn this year then we'll see where next year takes me and I'll try to add more wherever i am...
edit: i guess pasadena is considered Ucla so there's another

Since 2004:
- Better talent on the field
- Better, more exciting and close games
- More meaningful games, considering 4 of the past 6 winners of that game have won the BCS title, which also proves my better talent on the field point.
- You said being on a neutral field as a pro, but I think that is a HUGE con. Not being able to play such a huge rivalry in each team's stadium each year, I HATE that. I couldn't fathom LSU playing an SEC team every single year and never playing them at home. LSU-UF NOT being played at Tiger Stadium and in The Swamp would really take away from that rivlary, not add to it.
But we don't split the fans at midfield, so we can't compete with the RRSO.

How much does a ticket too UF- LSU run minimum?
Your talent has been great on the field I can not deny that. OU- texas have played in as many national titles as UF and LSU in the last 7 years. Difference is We are 1-3 and you all are 4-0 in titles games.
So you sole point is talent on the field. That's the only point of contention I can give you. Is talent all that is important in a rivalry game?

No clue. Haven't been to an LSU game at Tiger STadium since 2004, but my tickets were always free.
I've seen LSU play UF at The Swamp twice and those were also free, lol.

Get out of here with this UF /bama stuff. Its really only been a big game in the last 2 years. LMAO
simma champ.....its like it was stated. its all based on what you grew up with.
That said in my opinion...... the OU - Tex game has got to be top 2 if not the top BECAUSE it does happen every year and has for over 100 years. The national tittle implications make it great. The fact they are intra-division rivals make it great and its importance to the Texas State Fair is a plus. Its not just a game its a 2 state war.
In addition, equally as big, for most of those same reasons the Mich vs Ohio State game is interchangeable. Without the history then the NOW factor doesnt mean as much there isnt the hatred that built up on decades of memories, etc.
So all of you quit ya bitchin and get cha' popcorn ready. Its going to be a fun year of college football.
It just gets old with the SEC people Luis ya know.
I am sorry but every fucking game they play is not a "rivalry game.
UF is not "RIVALS" with
LSU
BAMA
FSU
GEORGIA
TENN
MIA
Its like Seeit being a fucking fan of 200 teams. Every game in the sec is not a rivalry game THEY ARE AMAZING FUCKING GAMES and some are rivalry's
That word is just used to loosely

Well thats cool that someone gives you tickets.
Ou/ Texas tickets are worth more than any other ticket on average than I have scene in the nation
I have been to 3 National Title games
6 BCS games
7 big 12 title games
countless bowl games
Oregon games
Miami games
Alabama games
A Notre dame game
Nothing compares

Doesn't remotely mean it's better.

Dude read the thread and THINK about the past 6 years.
Since 2004, LSU-UF has without question been a rivalry.
In terms of all time, it's certainly not a rivalry, but in the past 6 years, no question about it.
This has nothing to do with SEC or not, I gave reasons why I think it's the best. You may not agree, but they're solid points.
Notice, I never said anything like "nothing compares to it" like you did. You've shown more bias than I have, so your cries about the SEC are pretty silly.
