Today might be the most boring damn day ever. I coulda been playing some NDL:L, stupid PS3.

Some are deleting themselves. They are saying they could be gone.

I wonder if the problem is so serious, if they maybe have to mail out some kind of fix to everyone, obviously turning on your PS3 to get a download would then open it up to the problem in the first place.

So I have an old 80 gig that i got like 3 years ago....I havent turned my ps3 on yet. Does that even matter at this point or should I just leave it off until they fix this?Help!

Okay this will be proably the last update from me.
I've got fuc loads of work to do and ordering in Pizza's whilst I type. We're up and running here, we've ran a fix and everything working. We haven't lost any data, we had a couple of corruptions but nothing major. Good news is Trophies etc are all still safe.
https://secure.eu.playstation.com/psn/mypsn/trophies/ If you in Europe you can try that link, and you should still see them. Bad news is don't try and get any more as they won't probably won't synce even if the patch does come out.
US guys the link may work but I' don't know.

My first guess is that you download something on a PC, put it on a flash drive, and access that from the PS3. Kind of hard to download something on the PS3 when you can't get online.

Sony themselves said keep it turned off, all of them, they hope to have a solution tonight. If you haven't turned it on yet in the past 24 hours, you shouldn't be affected yet.
