But to be honest, we are already different! No one does what do, which is crystal clear. If anything, I think we're muddled with other leagues and other organizations on the net because we don't advertise or market our league enough.

Yes, we do have efforts on other people's forums, but those are very disconnected. What we need is a consistent image that ties all of us together.

Consistent imagery, consistent messaging, and social networking should be our 3 pillars.

There are 120 coaches each season, all different, leading their own lives, yet this league brings us ALL together.

If I could make a suggestion, how about we start a committee to develop Product Marketing Plan!? I would love to join and help lead the charge.

I have often times thought about posting links to here on every day message boards dedicated to the game but always decided against it for fear of luring cheese balls. But if we're willing to weed through the cheese to find some gems Im sure just word of mouth will bring a flurry of action.

some of you are missing the point though

its not that we're changing our domain name - onlinedynasty.net is fine

the "new" domain is purely a recruiting tool and as such it HAS to differintiate that this is not any type of "online dynasty" they may have conceived in their minds which does NOT include ALL 120 teams.

The "all d-1 teams" ones are pretty good and I certainly understand Dave's point if it were to become the actual domain but it will just be a re-direct link

once someone types it in, they will be re-directed to our actual site as it exists now.

so, it wont be too hard to change it to 121 or 122 or 119 if need be since its just a placeholder kinda

Well yeah, I say keywords of "All" "D-1" "Sim" or "Dynasty" in some form would work as a good redirect.
