Lot of talk about Peyton Manning being done lately, feels like Brees is "more done", he has no arm at this point, can't do much.

That game eliminated 44 of 100 remaining guys in my survivor pool. Love it

Same here, much easier to do when your team stinks.
I had Brees in a DFS lineup and found myself more upset than happy when the Ingram ran in for a score, as opposed to a Brees TD pass.

any ball he threw yesterday over 25 yards was a wobbling duck. gross to watch. i am a Brees apologist but shit it was ugly

Yep, I texted a friend this morning almost verbatim, except I went with 15 instead of 25. His passes were so bad. Couple of throws on the run with pressure that he'd normally easily make, short hopped probably 3 or 4 of em.
He dropped off a bit last season, but wasn't as bad as many made it out to be, he put up big numbers. This year, it'll get ugly I'm thinking.
But it's ok, our defense will lift us up!!!

i'm not giving up on him yet. need to see him get hot first then see if he can build momentum. if he gets hot then drops off again, i'll officially give up on him then. he's got a ton of new pieces around him and they haven't clicked at all yet

How is the change in offensive scheme going? I heard about it coming into the season, but I haven't paid any attention to the Saints through 2 weeks.

I guess it's tough to tell, as i really thought we'd try a much more balanced approach this season, but we've always been losing for most of both games. We've passed 86 times and ran 47. We've always been at our best when it's near 50/50. The years Brees puts up the crazy numbers are the years we don't run much and don't do all that well.
Brady, while nowhere near the decline of Manning and now Brees, doesn't throw the deep ball nearly as well as he used to, but they've figured out a way to make the short/intermediate game work in NE. The Saints will have to do the same, though I have less confidence than Dave. I think Brees will definitely have some good games, but I just don't see any reason to expect much out of him this season, grading on the Brees curve.
Our RBs have 18 catches through 2 games. Once Spiller is healthy, that could provide a much needed spark.
Cooks has also been fairly quiet, though I'd attribute some of that to Brees and how bad he's been so far.

Suh got $100mil+, has 2 tackles in 2 games, and there's some buzz about him not running the playcalls and causing some chaos for the Dolphins defense.
Also, Eagles CB Byron Maxwell (6-yr, $64m contract offseason) has been thrown at 19x, allowed 15 comp, 240 yds, 2 TD, 158.3 (perfect) QB rating.
Rough start for these guys.
