Standings page is, team pages are not for me.

5-2 sim for the Pale Faces. Artie Finch blasted three more home runs. I'm looking like a real idiot for having him in the minors all these years. He was a 7th round draft pick in 2023 and has been up and down from AAA to ML several times as an injury replacement.

I brought up Rod Clark as a short term solution since Josh Alexander got hurt and he's also been a pleasant surprise. His ratings are all fairly low except for his contact numbers. In the 6 games he's played though he's hitting .316 with three homers and 5 RBIs.

I honest expected this season to be a 50-60 win disaster, mainly due to pitching, but I'm 13-12 right now and while that's not great it's not what I expected either.

Boxscores are linked to last year games too. Dang, I wanted to see how the rookie I called up that must have had a ratings boost out the roof since spring training did. My scout seems to think he is going to be a superstar and I didn't even know who he was until the last sim.

I moved a couple guys in the lineup for the last sim and had a bad one. Last night I just clicked "Let Manager decide all depth charts and lineups". Boom, 5-2 sim.

I didn't sim us another day, I just ran through uploading again so it would fix the website issue.

It didn't finish unpacking reports for the website the first time through.

That being said, I think the Sheltown great firesale of 2022 may be the best of all time, certainly up there. I believe I went from a $140mil payroll to $40mil in like 2 or 3 sims.

I'm not sure what to expect the rest of the season from the Polar Bears. Hernandez is not pitching like an ace right now. Cobb is turning the corner realizing he is pitching for a winning team. The middle infield is terrible at the plate and the outfield is still the players carrying the team. Not sure we will be able to sustain a winning record, but we will give it the old Polar Bear try.

oh, and LOL at the guys that expected to win and are up and down with each sim...

I may not be far behind Corey. I knew this would be a bit of a transition year but I wasn't expecting this....my pitchers are all getting rocked (being 3rd worst in the league in walks allowed doesn't help), my guys who are good aren't hitting, my guys who are hitting aren't good, up is down, left is right.....

And to make matters worse, Mustang is getting rocked in AAA after his elbow surgery, it looks like his career may be over
