I assume the few things I've seen in the media would obviously be the most obvious things, and I still don't see where any of it directly implicates or proves Brady wanted balls deflated to levels below what is allowed.
Not saying it's not out there, just haven't seen it.
That doesn't exactly answer my question. Or are you suggesting that he shouldn't be punished because there's not enough proof?
(not trying to start an argument here, really just asking)
i think what the biggest uproar is about is that there isn't any process for the penalty. its just a 'ehhhh, we'll do it this way' type system which is unfair and can set dangerous precedent.
whatever the penalty is, it should be clearly written in a rule.

Speaking of...Pino I got more anti-Goodell stuff!!!
CBA, Art. 46, § 1(a); id., App. A, ¶ 15, which specifically grants authority to the Commissioner, and the Commissioner alone, to impose discipline on players. It also stated, "whereas the CBA expressly authorizes the Commissioner to delegate his authority to serve as Hearing Officer over Article 46 appeals, after consultation with the NFLPA, it contains no corresponding provision authorizing the Commissioner to delegate his exclusive role to impose conduct detrimental discipline to you (Vincent) or anyone else."
That section was connected to a footnote, which stated the following.
1 We also note that one arbitrator has previously found that you(Vincent), in particular, are unfamiliar with proper NFL discipline procedures and have no role in imposing discipline. Peterson Art. 46 Appeal at 7.

A Lebby article going after Goodell, while giving a little shoutout, if you will, to the failed BountyGate silliness. Can't get much better than that for me!!!

Or because the team itself has very little legal recourse courtesy of the CBA - whether it be appeals or legally - while Brady does.

Probably the same reason why every Saints player never served a penalty, but we never got our draft pick back and Sean Payton couldn't do anything about his 1 year suspension, and the Saints didn't put up a fight either.

Did you start your law school yet? I'm sure you could help on the Brady defense, you've clearly proven you'd do anything to defend him, even against shel!
I'm also guessing it now a certainty that Brady's suspension gets reduced to 1 or 2 games, I'd bet that was part of the "deal" Goodell and Kraft worked out in exchange for Kraft not attempting to put up a fight.
