I give Scaringe credit, dude is 35 years old, even if his cars are ugly.
While his truck might be ugly, it has some nice features.
And an 11,000 pound towing capacity is pretty nice compared to 13-14,000 of a Silverado.
And 0-60 in 3 seconds!
But $61,500 after tax rebate.
The SUV has a very Jeep Cherokee feel to me, not sure why.

Love the truck, not a fan of the SUV at all.

Great interview with Musk on 60 Minutes but also an online only piece that shows some good snippets.
Crazy to see the growth in 10 years.

Any and all competition is good for us (the consumer).
DETROIT (Reuters) - Volkswagen AG said on Monday it is investing $800 million to build a new electric vehicle at its plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee, as it shifts toward zero emission vehicles.
The German automaker, in an announcement at the Detroit Auto Show, said it is adding 1,000 new jobs and electric vehicle production in Tennessee will begin in 2022. German automakers have been under pressure from U.S. President Donald Trump to increase their investments in the United States.
"We obviously think electric vehicles are going to play a more and more prominent role," said Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam, who took part in the announcement.
Volkswagen said in November it planned to assemble electric vehicles at a plant in North America, but had not decided which one.

It's VW, they could just lie about their emissions and keep rolling.
Ford might not be doomed after all. The American automaker has now finally announced that it is going to launch an all-electric version of its most important vehicle program: the F-Series pickup trucks.

He still could have pulled up to it sideways across the parking spots like a fuel pump.

Tesla rolling out Sentry Mode to all of their cars.
This uses all the cameras on the vehicle and detects when the car is being leaned on our touched and it alerts the person on the main screen it has been detected and sends a notification to the app. If it detects a window break it alarms, flashes, and sounds and will send an alert to the app.
It records all interactions of these matters on all the cameras(8) on the car.
So cool how they can just update the car like this at anytime.

They also added a "dog mode" to keep the car air conditioner running and a large screen alert to anyone worried about the dog in the car saying "the climate control is on and the dog is safe" before someone breaks their window

How does this inform someone standing outside the car? It is pretty visible from outside?
