1. Colts don't run read option. Gore is a nice fit
2. Johnson was hurt.
3. Johnson had no fucking QB. Well he had 3 awful ones. So that's not entirely true.
4. Both have plenty of tread on their tires.

Colts are winners in this FA season.
Hopkins was 12th in the NFL in reception yards on 75 catches and one of the highest YPC's so this is an irrelevant excuse.

Gore is moist. The read option run if anything would help a running back.

i'll make the call that if Bradford is the starter he is up in the top tier of production next year for QB's assuming he can stay healthy.

Chris B. Brown @smartfootball 2m2 minutes ago

Looking better for Rams RT @AroundTheNFL Trade terms: Eagles get Bradford, and 2015 5th round. Rams get Foles, 4th in ’15, 2nd in 2016.

Your prediction was very Pengy like.

Lots of "ifs" and "assumings"

i don't know what that means.

i'm saying he's going to be up there with Manning, Brady, Luck, Ben, Rodgers in terms of production. i didn't realize that was a common thought.

ahhh i see what you're saying now with the ifs and assuming

well i don't know if they planned on getting a QB in draft like its being rumored they may. obviously anyone can get hurt so that's sort of a silly thing to say on my part.

So, rumors of Brees to the Bucs for the 1st round pick. What's going on in NOLA?

Legit playoff contender in a weak conference with a QB is still top 5 and has another 3 ish year window, you take your chances going for 1 more run.

His numbers last season aren't any different from the previous 7 or 8, nothing in there suggests he's on a big downswing.

He's not as good as Brady/Manning, but they're 2 years older playing at elite level, no reason to think Brees can't still be really good, top 5-10 type good.

they are comparing Winstons football IQ to Peyton Manning, but you'd rather keep the QB whos' like 37 and if you actually break his numbers down, is like a yoyo statistically. Theres no consistently in his numbers other than YPA which even those differences would be big after 600+ pass attempts.

ADD that your WR core is dusty and you just traded Graham

for someone who loved to back numbers before, you apparently disregard them when it comes to your fav teams.

shel, saints are in cap hell. probably the worst in the league. even if they had the rest of the offense around brees, they can't afford anyone on defense. this team needs to go into rebuild mode stat.
