We are terrible right now, but based on my scout, I know, scouts are crazy, but based on our scout, my minors looks pretty good.

i was looking at draft class and comparing to my scout and osa. unreal the difference on a handful of guys. i like my scout, but the difference on a guy is like night n day. lets hope 21 is better

I am in two other leagues that use scouting. The variance in this league between scouts and OSA is far more then either of those two leagues. Not even close.

If your scout lovessss a player, and they didnt perform well in College/High School.. dont draft them.

There is a setting to adjust the accuracy of the scouts.
I have no idea what Billy has ours set to and how that compares to what your other leagues have theirs set to.

Ours is set to normal, I made a poll a few seasons ago to bump it up one and try it and it got voted down. If I recall by the end of the thread the conversation steered to them being too accurate lol.

if you think your scout isn't accurate, why are you even bothering with anything they say?

if OSA like a guy and they perform in HS/college....they're probably good

i understand competition levels blah blah.....but the variance with that is probably less than the variance in scouts

It's not even the draft players variance that is the most frustrating. You could almost make a case for that. It's the 28yr old guy that has been at the ML level for 4 seasons and there is still a huge variance between scout and OSA. That is the most frustrating part to me.

Wait til 2021 and you gotta put in work to scout. Talk about variance then.

This will be the end of the "quick deal". Trade talks will now take days as people will have to request scouting reports.
