who has better players?
Right now, it's UCF and it's probably not very close.
100% agree!
It's hard to bring in recruits when you have a .500 coach

Yea, until they can get into a major conference, there's just no chance to really recruit and take that next step.

Just looked. Classes have jumped from 70s to 50s in his two years. Sure he can pull a top 50 class but he still gonna compete for scraps of UF FSU and Miami with USF and FAU. I think it’s coaching. getting kids play up. I think he could do well at Neb.
I disagree with the competing for scraps comment. A 13-0 or 11-2 type season could vault that recruiting class into the 30s. then what can he do from a coaching standpoint with those guys as opposed to a class in the 50s

then again, money isn't everything and maybe Nebraska is his "dream job"

They may pull a 4 Star kid or two ( kids who are liabilities) here and there but not gonna compete for instate kids with rest of nation. Only 5 Star I can think of that signed with non power conf is the Oliver kid at Houston. If they were in power I think sky is the limit

He says he like florida. And I dont think the new AD is going to fire Riley after this season. So I am hoping nobody entices Frost too much after this year and he waits for that offer from the Huskers

according to you its coaching .....should be able to turn a few 4 stars into 5 stars.
not to mention we have talked about the absolutely shame those ratings are anyhow

no doubt about that, but don't guys who should be starters eventually get tired of sitting the bench for UF? or FSU? or whoever.....with the ebbs and flows I would think the overall mindset has to change eventually

Recruiting rankings aren’t perfect but can’t be totally ignored. He is coaching kids up but athletes are athletes. You can’t coach 4.4 speed. He will have a few but can he litter his roster and two deep with 4 and five star kids like the 3 bigs in Florida? No. Recruiting high talent and player development are about even IMO. Obviously he is coaching them up since they aren’t burning up the recruiting trail. They can’t compete. All they need to do is recruit Florida kids that don’t go to those other 3 schools

I think Leach could do wonders with a team like Nebraska my self. I think if they don't go with Frost though, the Beliema or Mile's style is what they'll move to IMO. I think they have to get rid of Riley as soon as possible.

This Oklahoma/Ok St game might get me on team AJ. I mean 38-38 at the half, that is not competitive it's just kinda silly.
