Sad that we'll never know who was better between Cueto and Stroman.

well if we're going off 1 game sample sizes we already know since Jays beat Cueto 11-8 pitching against Stroman.

Good to know. I'm guessing neither pitched very well if it was 11-8

The aggressiveness of the KC hitters is something I haven't seen in a while from a team. And they make contact on damn near every swing they take

Completely agree! Like they were giving the sign to the pitcher instead of the catcher.

- Florida GM
he left cause we brought Shapiro in and he wanted to be promoted to President. Since they said no, hes gonna sit on the sides for a year and hope next year.

Yup... and he's on it. Exactly what I said "peaced for the open market"
nick wrote:he left cause we brought Shapiro in and he wanted to be promoted to President.
Yup... so he said "thanks" but turned it down. Again, what I said. Are you arguing that he didn't say thank you first? I'll concede that, I don't know if he flipped them off or sincerely thanked them...
nick wrote:Since they said no, hes gonna sit on the sides for a year and hope next year.
May be the case. But it's not like I said he wouldn't.

KC is fun to watch!
That play at 3rd with Alex Gordon was about as close as you can get. I thought he was safe until I saw the glove nick his helmet.

If KC opens up their pocket books they can have a nice 3 year run at the world series. I love the way this team plays. I'm still a White Sox fan (damn you Bo Jackson for getting hurt and becoming a southsider & Frank Thomas for being great), but I do root for the Royals whenever they aren't playing the Sox.

People second guessing Collins today are ridiculous.
The blame falls on the Mets defense, they blew it BIG TIME. That throw by Duda has to be one of the worst I have seen in ages.

while I don't think you run Harvey back out , or at least pull him after the walk, if the throw by Duda is 1/2 decent, the runner is out by 5 feet

That's what I told my buddy, it wasn't Lorenzo Cain on third or anything, the ball just needed to be in the vicinity of D'arnaud. He threw him a Colon 2 seamer.
If it makes you feel any better Dak I had under 7.5 runs for $250 last night.

Braves trade Simmons to Angels.
