Dave, whats your take on capital punishment being the voice of reason when it comes to hate, violence, and hugs?
in a way, that's kind of my point. if he gets shot, the whole world will be able to see it. if he goes away for 30 years before he gets the gas its going to drain more money from our government since it costs twice more to house an inmate on death row than regular inmate, and then there are all the appeals and defense costs. basically, Its going to cost more to keep him alive than he's worth in 1000k life times for the acts for which he participated.Seeitsaveit13 wrote:Nah. Many appeals coming for sure but as of now, that is the sentence.
His future for the next however long and however many appeals he wants his lawyers to go through. 23 hours a day.Tldr: He knew is 8 year old son, Martin Richards, wouldn't make it and had to act fast or risk loosing his 7 year old daughter too (she was missing her leg). He left his son to die and rushed his daughter to the hospital where her life was saved. That was the last time he saw his son alive.
Every time I hear about Boston I think about what Bill and his family went through that day. It is one of the saddest things I have ever heard. As a father myself it makes me feel Ill when I think about it.
Bill Richards urged the jury to not pursue the death penalty.
Ah ok I see what you mean nowtexasfan4444 wrote:in a way, that's kind of my point. if he gets shot, the whole world will be able to see it. if he goes away for 30 years before he gets the gas its going to drain more money from our government since it costs twice more to house an inmate on death row than regular inmate, and then there are all the appeals and defense costs. basically, Its going to cost more to keep him alive than he's worth in 1000k life times for the acts for which he participated.Seeitsaveit13 wrote:Nah. Times like this I sit back and think, "Seriously man, how could you not think of this idea yourself..."
