I'm with you guys on the Giants. Why do they get the market for the Red White and Blue? Shouldn't that be NE, they are the Patriots.ajalves wrote:I thought they were all pretty cool. I absolutely hated the Chiefs and wasn't a fan of the Dolphins either.
Chicago and Cincinnati are too similar.
The Steelers were pretty cool with the diamond plating effect

Damn I really hate saying this... I've got a feeling that Jameis Winston is going to be a pretty good NFL quarterback.

Re: NFL Thread
My big takeaway today was that Rbs aren't as fast as they used to be. Lots of high 4.6 and up. MSUs RB Langford was impressive though at 4.36.
Reign....Winston did show well today. But I still don't think it will be the on field stuff that will seal his fate, he's going to do something stupid off the field that he wont be able to get himself out of.

Bama was telling us that he was watching the combine and they were comparing his football IQ to Peyton Manning.ReignOnU wrote:Damn I really hate saying this... I've got a feeling that Jameis Winston is going to be a pretty good NFL quarterback.

My question would be... Which manning? We talking grade school or middle school?
Re: NFL Thread
During NFL Network's coverage of the NFL Scouting Combine on Saturday, host Rich Eisen talked about an interview Mariucci held with Winston for a segment that was featured on NFL Total Access on Saturday. In the segment, Mariucci asked Winston to diagram and analyze a play at the board.
Eisen said Mariucci called Winston "the most astute X's and O's guy that he's ever put on the board" for his draft breakdowns.
"He was not only answering the questions that Steve was throwing at him but anticipating what that question might lead to next and answering that question before Steve even posed it," Eisen said.
NFL Media analyst Mike Mayock said Mariucci's comments were in line with what he had heard about Winston's football IQ and work ethic, which he has been told are "off the charts."

Funny, everywhere I'm reading, people HATE hearing that and refuse to believe it.
Re: NFL Thread
The guys is an incredible football player. Now, as for Mariota, absolutely not an NFL QB. I don't see it; love to be wrong, but don't see it.

Winston definitely has football smarts. He might fuck up the simplest of cliches, but he knows his Spider-2-Y-Banana.

I have a hard time believing this article. Reason being is how can anyone understand Winston in the first place? Anyone saying they fully understand him is lying.OracleHCR wrote:During NFL Network's coverage of the NFL Scouting Combine on Saturday, host Rich Eisen talked about an interview Mariucci held with Winston for a segment that was featured on NFL Total Access on Saturday. Re: NFL Thread
I gave him a lot of crap over the last year or so... but I did the best I could to try to listen to him during the combine and I don't just mean the interviews. I tried to hear him in the background, speaking with other players and coaches. As much as I didn't want it to be true, the more I watched, the more I was impressed. Then they had a final segment with him and Mariotta on set together, which sealed it for me. Mariotta couldn't be more quiet and bland, while Jameis is far more outspoken, but not in an arrogant way. Put that together with watching him against the other QBs this weekend and I actually do think he's the top QB in this draft and that he's going to be successful (at least moderately) in the NFL.

Been a Winston fan since day 1. All of this praise he is getting doesn't surprise me. Guy is a stud. Would have loved to see how you guys acted as 19 year olds in the Twitter/social media era. Getting suspended for yelling "fuck her in her pussy" is still one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard.

If that was the only thing then yes, I agree with you. But just having those allegations hanging over you, founded or unfounded, and you yelling that is a little different, just my opinion of course.packsyd2284 wrote: Getting suspended for yelling "fuck her in her pussy" is still one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard.

You were messing with other people's garbage cans, placing them at their front doors at 30 years old, you leave Jameis alone!!!Cnasty wrote:
