I just rewatched the play in slow mo.....ball hits him right in the mask. If it hits your mask you need to catch the fucking ball. The one on fourth down was a clear drop as well.

I dont know how either unless your a VT fan. I love what this team always seems to do and watch them come from nowhere to the program they have become is pretty awesome.
Dont hate on Boise due to the system. The system is flawed and needs some twirks but dont blame Boise for it. Does their conference suck? Hell yea.
If there are 2 undefeated BCS schools, do they deserve it more? Hell yea
BUT dont hate on em and give em a shot in a system if they go undefeated to prove if they can compete with those undefeated BCS schools for a title.

I just don't like their "victim" attitude about having to earn the respect. Teams always have to go on the road to earn respect and get the notoriety of being a bigtime college football team. They don't have a few winning seasons in a row and demand bigger schools play home and away series with them and when they don't tell everyone the schools are scared to play them.

THem turning down a 2 for 1 with Nebraska then crying about no one wanting to play them really soured me on Boise.

You really do need to check the glasses my friend. The Boise defenders hand was up near the face mask and the ball went off his fingertips.
Herbie even said it during the replay. Hope you have HD!

I do not like Boise but it doesn't discount that they have turned into a solid program and clearly this is the year they will get a fair shot because they have shown year in and year out when they have gone to a BCS game or played in these big time games on TV thery show up to play. People get tired of seeing Ohio St get pounded by an SEC team in the title game so replace them with an undefeated Boise. This Boise team can play and if they put up a real good showing and Oregon St finishes near the top of the Pac-10 like I think they will then how could you leave Boise out of the equation. They can not help that their conference is dog shit, thats a top notch team I watched tonight.

why go play twice when the other team only will go once.
They want to be treated as equals, and its probably just them holding that angle. Stepping up to the Mountain West next season will be a big upgrade, making the SOS almost a non-issue when they will play much better teams each week.

Right but are they the ones doing this? No, its the media who is still doing this.
I bet if you interview Peterson he isnt viewing his team as an underdog and expects to win every game like a good coach should.
I guess its the Tebow type hate. Tebow was an awesome QB but the media made it unbearable at times.

Uhh, because they want to do everything they can to win a national championship?
Can't think of a better reason than that.
Or, if you turn it down, that's fine. But don't start whining about how no one wants to play you.

Sorry, I'm not buying this crap.
They get MONTHS to prepare for VT; they won't play another top-notch team this season; then they'll get a month to prepare for their bowl opponent.
Meanwhile, a team like Alabama has to face top-notch teams, and has to face what....five, six, seven of them IN A ROW that will have a week off before playing them?
And you're telling me if Bama loses one game, that Boise (unbeaten against shitty opposition) deserves a shot over them?
Btw, am I the only one who thought the penalty on Boise's final drive was a god-awful call?

1. It was a horrible call.
2. But, it will get called every single time. Same exact play happened in teh LSU game and it was called, and I'm sure many others this week.
3. There's really nothing the VT defender could have done to avoid it.
