He could be a random teacher in El Paso doing the same shit and you wouldnt give 2 fucks, but because he plays a sport for a living because hes talnted unlike most, we decide its a big deal. How many Cleveland games you watch Dak to give this much of a shit?

That, but somehow I'm the guy he complains about arguing for the sake of arguing.
It's simple logic: 1 is arguably the GOAT, obviously one of the GOAT QBs. The other 2 are good WRs. Doesn't seem controversial at all for me to insinuate Rodgers makes them look better moreso than the other way around.
I didn't argue that they helped Rodgers more than he helped them. I was throwing your own stupid logic back at you to show you how stupid your comment was. You act like an elite QB (and I'm sorry, Rodgers isn't GOAT or even top 3 for me; he plays in an era that favors QB passing stats) makes mediocre WRs elite; when in reality, having elite QB AND elite WR make each other better (see Montana and Rice, Aikman and Irvin, Manning and Harrison). An elite QB can go to a team without WRs and his numbers take a solid hit; vice versa for an elite WR. They aren't mutually exclusive.

Joe I am not saying he didn't fuck up or let his teammates down. That's not debatable. sorry isn't enough I agree w that too.

Re: NFL Thread
I had a moment in my life where I looked down on people and I felt joy in others failures. I was very immature at that point and I made a choice to be better cause I realized I was just insecure and scared.trendon wrote:It is because human beings do not weigh positive and negative traits/actions evenly. I love hearing your take on this tho

Re: NFL Thread
I don't judge Gordon, I honestly feel bad for him. He keeps putting himself into these positions and it's ruining his life. The question is, will he learn from it, or will he simply blame others instead of looking in the mirror?

Just watched NFL Network interview Snoop Dog. Interesting observations:
1. Snoop Dog was asked about Lagarrette Blount: "you know I like the Blunt, but I'm going with Lynch"
2. All three mentioned Lynchs Hat that he is possibly getting fined for and all three mentioned they want one.

Beckham is an animal. Good call by Shel thinking Jarvis Landry would be better.

Didn't drop one, and threw three of them back to Brees

But Brees probably made him better, he's not elite

They actually listed Beckham as the Giants only elite player on that site.jsence2 wrote:nick wrote:Beckham is an animal. Good call by Shel thinking Jarvis Landry would be better.

Also, that was some poor organization by the people putting it on. Running out of footballs? Really?

I hope you are kidding cause you know that is not what shel meant.jsence2 wrote:But Brees probably made him better, he's not elite
He was talking about WRs like Cobb or Nelson.
He is not saying they are not good WRs, but he is saying that Rogers makes them better than they are if they had an avg QB throwing to them.
I will ask this question and maybe it will help you understand him.
If Randall Cobb or Jordy Nelson switched places with Odell Beckem Jr., do you think their numbers would be where they are today?
Cause I dont. And I think Beckem's would be even better than they are today.
So I get what he is saying and I agree with him.
Think of Manning and Brees and Brady and Rogers.
I feel like these guys make avg WRs better. Like we would barely know who half their WRs were if it wasn't for them making the WRs better.

Re: NFL Thread
It's crazy, Brees puts every pass in the same exact spot, and Beckham looks like he could do this in his sleep, like he doesn't even need a 2nd arm to be a WR lol.DRiccio21 wrote:that video is pretty freaking nuts.
Side note/homer alert, the Drew Brees Sports Science is one of the cooler ones I've seen. They put him up against some expert archer, and Brees was more accurate throwing footballs at a target than the archer.
Re: NFL Thread
ya Brees throws the ball at the exact same degree every time
