We just pretending that the left wasn't responsible for the largest riots in American history where a bunch of people died?
I guess yes, we are pretending that never happened.
And also lol at being naive enough to think insurance money solves all the issues and gets you right back to where you were before .
It's amazing how little nick understands some of the simplest shit in how life works.
Maybe just toss this in my sig...

There's multiple issues with it, but our friendly Canuck often struggles to go beyond the first link of the chain. (yes, that's a subtle hint)

Nick would think more highly of the right if they rioted, caused billions in damage, and murdered a bunch of people.

Well, the riots from a couple of years ago were the most property damage in the history of the US in a riot, so...
Also, they haven't done any of that in this scenario nick brought up, and nick is still saying it's worse, did you not see that part?

Well, they say a nuclear bomb is worse than an atom bomb...but is there a difference?

Billions of dollars in damage and a bunch of murders is infinitely worse than the fallout from the trucker protest. Why do you disagree?

I don't, I disagree that you paint the picture that the right is somehow more sane than the left and that you clearly are making that statement. Both are fucked up

The only thing I can think here is you should go back and read where this started.
Nick claimed that the trucker protest has been worst than the worst riots in American history. i disagreed, and you came in and pretty seemingly disagreed with me, and not once did you disagree with anything nick said.
Why are you trying to extrapolate this into who is more sane overall, right or left? Just take it for what was actually said, nothing more. Which protest was more destructive? That's it, that is ALL we are discussing here. You seem so far left that you gotta jump through hoops to make an argument against anything that is not pro Left, even when you just admitted that you completely agreed with my main point. But then you tried to jump to all kinds of conclusions on my main point that you agreed with to then make it some thing against the Left. That's pretty odd, man.

I can do the same thing you do and take one statement to comment on. Your statement clearly paints the picture that the right does none of these things. I'm out

It's literally the comment he made that spared this discussion.
All you're doing right now is complaining that I am staying on topic.
You're also unknowingly doing exactly what you're claiming I'm doing. I'm staying right on topic, the exact topic nick brought up. You're changing the topic to something bigger, while claiming I'm taking one statement and extrapolating it.

CNN may get better, ratings are down close to 90% compared to last year. Zucker is stepping down over some relationship stuff.

Agree! I watched him 2 nights and it's unbearable! Pre-COVID I enjoyed watching Cuomo for a different take on the news of the day. Can't just have one view and think you know what the news is. Now it's damn near impossible to watch CNN, I'd almost rather watch MSNBC (as long as it ain't Joy or Rachel) to get the lefts view on the news. CNN has been sliding for some time now, just saw that they are down 90% viewership since Biden took over.

That 7% inflation number in December doesn't seem so bad now does it? Currently at 7.5%. Gas up 40%, steaks up 12%, bacon up 18%....you get the idea

Ah... just move to California George... they'll just outlaw all of those things. Can't inflate it if it doesn't exist!

True, i guess.
My soap costs went up 15% in September. Just got another email 2 weeks ago saying that prices are going up again, this time nearly 60%. One of my soaps is going from $130 a pail to $216 a pail
