AJ is correct. The entire reason Zion has taken off this month is they've entirely changed his role on offense. He's basically a point guard now. Not in the traditional sense of walking the ball up the court(though he does that too), but he is the one facilitating the play's outcome.
Zion may be listed as a PF and he may rarely ever shoot from the outside, but offensively he is a perimeter player. The vast majority of the time he has the ball, it starts on the perimeter.
If I had to guess, I'd assume George thinks he's much more like Shaq, just sitting on the block, and getting the ball and working out of the post. He can and does do that too, but Zion is a perimeter player on offense.

I picture him more like Giannis. Giannis gets the ball at the top of the key and takes 2 steps and he is dunking the ball.
Nobody plays the block like they used to.

Is it GSW or was it the D'Antoni/Nash Suns? They tried to shoot in under 10 seconds right? And liked to shoot the 3 if I remember correctly
Couple of days ago ESPN was showing a stat where those Suns were 1st in damn near every offensive category and compared them to what they would be today and they'd be middle/bottom in those same categories.

The Athletic came out with a new top 50 under 25 and Zion came in at #3 behind Tatum and Luka. BUST!!!!!! Shawn Kemp would have been top 2
You can build a team around the top two to win a championship. Unless Zion can get on one of these super teams he'll never win anything. It's just the way the game is played now. One of the reasons I cannot get into the NBA. Long gone are the days of Kobe, Duncan, Jordan....etc
What about the days of Kobe & Shaq? Duncan & Robinson? Jordan & Pippen?
Strange to just leave out elite partners in those duos when making an argument against building around top 2s.

That would be an amazing duo. It would benefit Zion to play elsewhere, because eventually sheluck will happen and the best offensive player next to him will end up being Ball

Myles Garrett - 6'4, 270
Zion Williamson - 6'7, 280??
Kind of mind blowing when you realize Zion would be that much bigger.

How can you not have Kobe #1 on the Lakers? He is number 1 in damn near every Lakers stat.
Kobe > Magic > Kareem > Shaq > Wilt
Shel can't take you serious. Kareem, Shaq and Wilt are you examples of greatest. I willet you research their paint scoring, FG% and all the other anti-Zion stats you can come.e up with

The Kings were up by 8 last night with 1 minute left, and with a flagrant foul, the Kings were shooting 2 free throws and getting the ball back.
The Kings figured out a very Kings way to lose this game.

Lamelo Ball leads all rookies in points, rebounds and assists.
I wasn't on the bandwagon before the season, but he's made a believer out of me.
