using 7 day lineups?dakshdar wrote:I tried it this last sim. Read all the stuff online. Didn't work at all. It was as if the game ignored it.GeorgesGoons wrote:Well, tried the opener/follower with two of my pitchers. Game didn't use it at all for either one. Maybe because I use 7 day lineups.

Re: 2066 Season Thread... Hakuna Nonaka
Nope - forgot to add that I don't use them.
The game manual does say if your opener (or openers as I have two set as potential options) are too tired they won't open the game, but one of my openers didn't pitch for 7 days leading up to the game he would have opened so...
I wonder if I have to click the box that "allows SP in relief" because the follower still shows up in the starting rotation area of the Pitching tab.
Will try that this next time around.

I still think Dan Burks would be a bad ass reliever on a better team...
4-0 with 10 saves and a 0.51 era in 25 games, 28 K's and 9 walks.
You know you want him. Say it. You want him.

For the openers - did you change the setting in the Global Strategy Settings too? I overlooked that the first time I tried it and just tried to staff that way in the pitching staff area... havent tried it since tho....

Who says that? All my years of coaching baseball, having kids go to college, kids getting drafted and a couple playing minor league baseball I have never heard that.dakshdar wrote:prospectscougnix wrote:What the fuck are specs?

Now if he pops hot I am blaming you!
RF Lewis Archer (got in a trade with Ted before the year started) had an amazing 1st week. Could have won AL POTW honors had Hernandez not had a great week. Archer finished his first week with a .333 average with 4 HR's and 7 RBI's.

Success! Well, depending on your definition. My opener started twice and the follower followed correctly.dakshdar wrote:Nope - forgot to add that I don't use them.

Now, my opener put up a 40+ ERA in those games but...
