Esparza Gives Steel City Goose Eggs
Thursday, April 8th, 2032
The final score was 7-0 in favor of Cincinnati. Leading the way to victory was Pablo Esparza, who shackled the Steel City Bulldogs and held them scoreless on a 5-hitter.

We lost CF Adrian "Rocket" Rodriguez for 4-5 months.
Thanks Reign.

That wasn't in my crystal ball, you must have kept the original.

The only thing I remember, I offered a guy. Then accidentally hit Meet Demand so I didn't export after that... or did I?
My GM skills have been so bad these past few seasons.
I hope it was a mistake, otherwise wow. Lol

Josh Alexander out for 5 weeks with a strained quad. Damnit.
Enrique Lombos, my 24 year old #1 pitcher had a nice start to the season. He's been called up late the last couple of seasons for cups of coffee but he's up for good this season. He's got potential in the mid 70's and some good stuff. He's just got to improve on his control and get a little more movement.
Artie Finch, LOL. That's a pretty good start for a career minor leaguer.

Weekly Team Power Rankings
Monday, April 12th, 2032
Here are the current team power rankings:
Teams (Total Points, Tendency):
1) Lake Elsinore Captains (190.0, ++)
2) Las Vegas Outlaws (150.0, ++)
3) Cincinnati Titans (149.0, +)
4) Honolulu Pirates (149.0, ++)
Great now we can prepare to lose the rest of the games for the month. Nothing like meeting the quota early.

Opening day and not much chatter going on.
I will have to say I am overly happy with the first week for the Beef. We have been a notorious slow starter these past couple of seasons. And to start off 4-1 against two divisional foes has me stoked. If we can continue it next week, 1 vs STC and 4 vs South Dakota (with 3 Launch games sandwiched in the middle), this would probably be the best start I have seen since taking over Omaha.
Wayne Washington starts the season where he left off. He leads the AL in HR's (tied), extra base hits and total bases while maintaining top 10 in Slugging (3rd), OPS (4th), wOBA (5th), Doubles (tied for 2nd), RBI's (tied for 8th), Runs (tied for 6th) and ISO Power (3rd). Is it possible he has gotten better as he has aged? If so, Jamie Cruz 603 career HR's will fall. Wayne Washington is currently 209 HR's away. Since returning back to Omaha he has hit 38, 40 and 61 HR's.

Quietest Opening Day ever!
It wouldn't have been this quiet if it were opening day of season 1 of a restart.

Alabama starts off with a 4-1 record. A sweep of Houston with the most impressive play turned in by SP Cliff Douglas as he pitches a full 9, gives up 5 hits and no runs. The offense left off where it ended last season hitting and getting on base.
The power numbers hinge on two players returning from long injuries, Pritchard and Jimenez. Pritchard appears to have put in the work to rehab and come back strong, as for Jorge....
Jorge Jimenez remains a question mark. During his 7 month rehabilitation some in the organization wonder if he rehabbed at all? Most think he spent his time in the lazy boy watching Seinfeld reruns and redtube with a vat full of vaseline and rags by his side. At times, he stuck to the chair, rumor has it.
