Re: Penn St
Here's some potential twists that could explain more...
...what if McQ was actually a victim?
He grew up in State College... 2yrs older than Jon Sandusky, Jerry's son. Played HS football with him.
...what is McQ's dad actually knew Jerry's history and influenced what McQ told Paterno?

Too soon?
If you're posting this as a new joke, horrible.
If you're posting it in response to it being posted the first two times, well played.
Sorry jsence and nick, I was at the bar and my buddy sent it to me in a text, I wanted to share it. I, obviously, did not read the prior posts.

Re: Penn St
The rumor is that he is pimping out kids to rich donors of the charity. They of course may also be PSU donors, but thats not what the rumor is suppose to be. The guy that started the rumor (Maddon) did a piss poor job explaining that fact and it was later confirmed by a few of his colleges who followed up with him.Cunit879 wrote:Has anyone seen the rumor from yesterday alleging that Sandusky was pimping the kids to rich PSU donors
Still shitty of course but shows you how these things take a life of their own.
Also, the reporter who first wrote about the DA said the case files mentioned that the hard drive was never recovered and the laptop was damaged (it was found in a lake) beyond use. She never mentioned anything about detectives being able to read anything on it. So unless the hard drive has been found 10+ years later I dont think thats accurate.

"The board of trustees got it wrong. They should have consulted the victims before making a decision on Mr. Paterno...They should have considered these victims watch TV and are aware of the students' reaction and may not want to be associated with the downfall of Mr. Paterno. The school instead elected to do what it felt was in its own best interest at the time. Isn’t that what put the school in this position in the first place?"

Re: Penn St
That's the statement from the lawyer of the victims. I read that yesterday. Still kind of strange.
1 mother has come out saying Paterno was rightfully fired, 1 sister of a victim has come out and said that he shouldn't have been. A lot of mixed feelings on it.

Re: Penn St
Sounds harsh or whatever, but the victims and their families are some of the last people who we should take advice from on how to handle this situation. They're not exactly looking at it from the right standpoint, through ZERO fault of their own obviously.ReignOnU wrote:That's the statement from the lawyer of the victims. I read that yesterday. Re: Penn St
I think they're making that statement cause they're afraid of anyone targeting them for the loss of JoePa. Hell people were rioting, the DA is missing along with a HD from a laptop, no telling what stupid people will do these days for the love of a coach.

Can you imagine if for some reason, some how, Sandusky ends up being innocent? IF that were to happen, imagine the lawsuits that would come out of this. Like I said, this is one of those what if's.

I don't get what the link has to do with Sandusky's office campus lol.
