We have advanced to Week 2, Talented is still in for the moment

We have three user games this week, all with major implications:

Cal @ Texas

Florida State @ Ohio State

Michigan @ Notre Dame

We will advance Saturday night or sooner if everyone gets their games in. Everyone has a game except Beefy, he gets a rest after his upset win over Alabama.

Oracle,

I will be available tonight after 6PM ET.
On Sat or Sunday I think we are going to a hockey game. Not sure what day yet. If we go on Saturday, I will be available until about 4 on Sat and all day Sunday. If we go on Sunday, I should be around all day Saturday and then available until about 2 on Sunday.

If you guys need until Sunday just let me know, since these user games have major title race implications.

Texas took down a very tough Cal team 31-7. The score doesn't indicate how tight the game was. Texas was down 7-0 after Cal's first drive, where they hit some very nice big plays.Texas tied it at 7-7 late in the 1st quarter, and then took the lead on a late first half FG to go into the break up 10-7. Second half, Texas got a TD pass on their opening drive to go up 17-7, and then late in the third, Cal had a terrific chance for a pick six, but the pass went off the DB's hands and into the WR's hands. Texas would go on to score a 46 yd option keeper TD with the backup QB, early in the 4th. After a stop and then a missed 59 yd FG by Texas' All-American K, Cal got inside the Texas 10 and called timeout to try to get a touchdown. The pass into the endzone with only seconds left was picked off and brought out by the defender's momentum. He got past one guy and, seeing nothing but green in front of him, decided to excite the two DB recruits in attendance and took it 101 yds for the TD to seal the win.

GG Outlaw, when you get a QB in there and some better OL, you're gonna be a major force.

I work saturdays until 5 cst. I am off all day on Sunday so that would be our best bet. Pick a time in the morning and I'll meet you.

QB makes his first start, against a top 10 team, on the road, in a very tough stadium. Thanks for that Jsence , you think your schedule was tough this season in my OD.............

You had a bye in week 1; and you had some scrub in week 2, on the road. So I simply changed the opponent to Ohio State. Sorry.

How does 11 ET sound for Sunday morn. could possibly go a bit sooner.

Can we just rename this OD "The Jsence does whatever is needed to destroy FSU, including but not limited to stealing most of the good recruits and tweaking of schedules". Thats all

Lol I almost always give you a creampuff to start out, and it's usually YOU who steals the recruits from ME.

But apparently I'm stealing from Beefy now

Like I said, I usually don't change the WEEKS of the games, I just take out the crappy FCS teams. If you guys want me to give you Week 1 games, then I'll make it a priority from now on. I've always tried to make the schedules as fair as possible (hence everyone having tough ones, usually me with the toughest) but I don't mess with weeks, locations, etc. So from now on I'll post schedules before we advance offseason so everyone is happy.

Oracle and I are done. It was a thriller for sure.

Michigan ties the game, then ND gets a big run from its HB to take a 7 point lead. Michigan gets the ball and throws and INT. The D stands and forces a FG. ND up by 10.
Michigan then gets the ball and makes it down the field and scores with 1:06 left to make it a 3 point game. Michigan can't recover the onside kick. ND runs the ball 3 times and UM uses it's 2 timeouts and kicks a FG. Back to a 6 point game. ND squibs the kick and Michigan takes it down at their 31 with 0:15 left. Michigan connects on a passplay and gets to the ND 40 with :10 left as they go to hurry up offense. Michigan snaps the ball is looking for a guy open and has to launch it down field and pray. The receiver comes down with it as the ND safety tries to swat it and ties the game with :04 left. The XP is good. Mich squibs the kick and ND ends up using all the remaining time as Michigan pulls out the win.

It was a great game and a lot of fun. looking at the score you might think there was no defense but we had like 7 or 8 turnovers

We advanced early this afternoon; we will advance again Monday night if everyone is done.
