you're either very young or haven't studied much history.
I realize the perception.

I realize the history. I'm assuming you mean "look at history, there's always been 2 parties etc" when you're suggesting I don't know history.

Doesn't mean it HAS to be that way.

My only argument that the "it's always gonna be like this" and the "it won't matter" statements are completely true... with that attitude. If people believe that way, then they're right. If that attitude goes away, you actually get a chance.
my point was simply people have been saying what you're saying for about 100 years. as we get older we see issues and believe we are confronted with something different, but the republican/democrat thing and the hopeful 3rd party has been going on for a long time.

shel's point about technology changing things is about the only hopeful thing i can think of. information is power and it can certainly change everything.

Agree with shels point. Next to no one would have heard about Johnson if not for some of his videos on facebook etc. That's a start

Usually around 9 or 10 the last couple of nights when i'm not really watching much TV, I just have the RNC on in the background, and it's truly the most boring thing ever...but that took things up a few notches, to say the least.

I think Ted Cruz put himself on an island even further away from any help with that speech last night and his press conference this morning. He already wasn't a well liked guy in the Senate and I think he might have hurt himself for any further place in office. A lot of people believe Integrity is a value that shouldn't be stomped on and he did a Texas 2 step on it last night and today.

I'm not naive enough to think that a lot of the same kind of shit isn't happening in with the RNC, but wow... some of this stuff that Wikileaks dropped from the DNC is brutal.

Just go here... https://wikileaks.org/dnc-emails/ ... toss in some keywords and have a field day.

The DNC really didn't want Sanders to win this. I wonder how much people are going to press this because it could get pretty crazy.

1 quick find... they considered not vetting a delegate because they were a big Bernie supporter...

https://wikileaks.org/dnc-emails/emailid/1656

...the delegate caught wind of it on Facebook today and basically states that's what would have happened if they didn't.

I wonder what else is in here...

You can't make this one up... while it doesn't pertain to the leak obviously, it's still hilarious on title alone...

The dumbest thing I've ever read: Buzzfeed: These Experts Think The DNC And RNC Are Both Horrible At Cybersecurity

Credit Reddit for finding this one.

Bernie Sanders Calls for Democratic Leader to Step Down Following Email Leaks: 'She Should Resign, Period'

Probably should be in the not-so-newsworthy section. Pretty obvious that this was going to happen.

The real question is, how can he continue to honestly endorse Clinton? Not that there's a real viable solution for Sanders supporters out there.

Wasserman Schultz resigning as party leader

...and she is stepping down... at the end of the convention. I'm sure Clinton gave her a hefty sum to take one for the team. Shady bitch.

DNC... you are the gift that keeps on giving this weekend...

With DWS stepping down, Donna Brazile has been named as the interim chair. Well, she doesn't think much of the Sanders team either...

No... seriously... haha. As if she wasn't her honorary chair person already.
