Rodriguez ejected. Meanwhile, MRI on Gatorade cooler reveals crack. Mets say it’s as good as new.
This made me giggle

It's hard to take baseball seriously with plays like the Utley-Tejada collision tonight. They went ahead and changed the rules for home plate collisions to protect catchers but you've got equally ridiculous collisions on the bases because of "breaking up a double-play". Nevermind the fact that the MLB rulebook has a rule already in place (5.09(13)) that would deem the runner out automatically and the batter (6.01) could also be called out due to the interference.
Seeing plays like that in baseball is almost comical and reminiscent of the "Full Contact Golf" commericals from years ago.
It was actually refreshing to see that most sportscasters and other media people after the game didn't approve of the play. Maybe the days of the "that's just a good hard baseball play" as an excuse for crap like that are numbered.

I was stuck at work and I had what was equivilent to 1997 internet. I kept refreshing and I saw my twitter explode with "jose" "JOSE" "jose"
so happy right now. Cant believe they did it.
The reason im really happy is every series deeper we go is a higher chance we steal Price from the Cubs

That's how you hit a home run and make a statement. Need more of that!
I'm officially on the Blue Jays bus for this post-season!
