Re: NFL Thread
Damn Matt, the Seahawks just keep pulling out victories......I listened to the game on the way back from the cleveland area today, only game i could find on am radio. Two nice returns by Washington. As for the Steelers if you would have told me they would be 3-0 without Ben to start the season i would have laughed hard.
Re: NFL Thread
We were getting pressure on Rivers for the entire first half, and then suddenly we couldn't even touch him. Our passing offense looked like dog shit; we can't run, and our defense was pretty lackluster, allowing over 400 yards passing. We also left Gates wide open. Antonio Gates; the best TE in the NFL. Wide open.buckeye76 wrote:Damn Matt, the Seahawks just keep pulling out victories......I listened to the game on the way back from the cleveland area today, only game i could find on am radio. I'm glad we won, but we can't count on Washington to run back kicks. Hopefully Okung heals up and comes back soon and Petey can find a way to get the offense rolling. Our defense will be fine; we were without Trufant for most of the 2nd half, which is why I completely disagreed with trading Wilson, especially for what we got in return. Oh well. If Hasselbeck doesn't make dumb throws (see: INT to Champ Bailey inside red zone last week in loss), we can win the West and maybe a playoff game.
Pittsburgh is looking good. Finally got that offense going. One team I enjoy watching this season is Kansas City. Go Chiefs go.

Re: NFL Thread
yeah the announcers were talking about how wide open gates was late in the game. No shit about the Chiefs.....!
Re: NFL Thread
So after this week are undefeated teams are Pittsburgh, Kansas City and the winner of Green Bay/Chicago... Yeah no one is running the table this year.
Re: NFL Thread
the chiefs have played 3 teams with a combined 1-8 record i believe
they gonna get shit stomped in their next 2 games @Indy and @Hou

Re: NFL Thread
i agree, however, them going 3-0 seems to contribute to their opponents 1-8 start.DRiccio21 wrote:the chiefs have played 3 teams with a combined 1-8 record i believe

Re: NFL Thread
The Chiefs will likely lose to Indy and Houston. dropping to 3-2. After that though Jax, Buf, Oak, Den, Ari, Sea, Den, SD, Stl, Ten, Oak. How many of those games will they def. lose, probably only the Tennessee game. Them winning 10 is not out of the question. Hell, they might be better than we thought they were and go 12-4 or something.

Re: NFL Thread
Bills release Trent Edwards. Dumb.
Edwards will excel behind an average or better offensive line; which the Bills lack. The guy has a great arm, great smarts, and great size.

Re: NFL Thread
I dont like the play call there by the bears, the packers are down def lineman so why not just run the ball or kick the fg to tie the game up. Terrible play call imo....

Re: NFL Thread
why not just let them score when they were just under 2 minutes and at your one?

Re: NFL Thread
the pass interference penalty i'm remembering is the one on the interception. they got the ball inside the 10 with around 1:45 to play. forte ran it down around the three on the first play. green bay didn't use their timeout, and chicago ran it up the middle twice before calling the time out. green bay could have let them score and still had a time out in their pocket.trendon wrote:Chicago - 6:33vicktim7 wrote:why not just let them score when they were just under 2 minutes and at your one?
