So trump released 5-7000 afghanis and they all joined the taliban and one is the leader.

what a disaster
but most will have you believe it's Bidens fault...
You do realize that the handover to the Taliban was conditioned based and we were going to leave a contingency force there so we can still maintain some kind of intelligence presence there right?!? Biden car-blanched said we are withdrawing everyone without conditions. And yes, it is his fault....he is the Hider....er I mean...Commander in Chief

If this had happened under Trump's watch, pelosi and the rest of the idiots would have wanted to impeach him over it. Curious at the same standard would play out

Where does "car-blanched" rank on the Packsy scale?

Solid, but nowhere near Packsy greatness level.

We've got to take what we can get these days.

I’d rather ppl say car blanched than ppl actually compare nazi Germany to vaccine passports. Imagine having a family member that was brutally killed and you think a little passport (when you got gps systems in your pocket following your every move) is equivalent to hell on earth for millions of ppl. Woof.

What's the over under that Biden takes questions? Blames Trump? Blames Intelligence?

A couple of days ago Biden flatly blamed Trump, put the entire withdrawal of troops on Trump, and Biden today went out of his way to say withdrawing troops was the right thing to do and took credit for it.

Otherwise, the basic takeaway is just about everything Biden said was correct, but he entirely missed the point. He talked the entire time about why leaving was the right thing to do and basically didn't do much in the way of the real issue, how we left.

Left-Right it doesn't matter. Blame Biden blame Trump but the fact remains that Afganistan is where the real blame should be. Bush's war on terrorism is to blame, Obamas killing of Osama is to blame, Trumps reality TV presidency is to blame. No matter how you slice it there is no correct "car blanched" blame

100% incorrect on both accounts.
Afghanistan should have been over once we killed Bin Laden. The War on Terrorism was the right thing to do when it comes to Afghanistan. Who is to say what the next attack could have been had we not gone over? It started in the early 90's with the bombing of the WTC, escalated even more with the USS Cole and the embassy bombings in Africa and ended up with 9/11. Had we left them to plan their next attack what could it have been? My guess the 3K people that died on 9/11 would have been small in comparison to what could have been

Good to see Biden heading back to Camp David though.

Just to kill any assumptions... while I think it's laughable that he's been at Camp David and he's heading back there today, after watching Trump get slammed for years over his non-working activities... I personally don't care.
Also, even thought I think he's hardly a step above a pet rock in terms of ability, today was the first time I've had any bit of respect for him.
1.) He came right out and reaffirmed his decision to withdraw
2.) He was clear in saying that shit happened faster than they expected
3.) He was right to blame the ANA for having no spine
4.) While I fully disagree with his method, I fully agree with removing the troops.
It was never going to last, we were just pissing money away, and were ultimately going to be in the same place no more than 6 months after a drawdown anyway. I know the right is playing this up like it's Saigon 2.0, but it's really not comparable in my book.
The only concern I have is the same it would have been 6 months to a year out from a regular withdrawal... have we increased their capability to the point that we've increased substantial risk on our own soil. You can defeat a dictator, you can clear a corrupt government, but it's another story when you're target is a religion influenced ideology.

The Press Secretary from the Pentagon continually was saying they're protecting Americans at the Airport. When asked directly about American citizens outside of the airport, he said they will protect American citizens once they get to the airport.
I don't think this will end well, and any Americans that may die as a result is directly on Biden. It's just wild to me the nonsense we went through with the last impeachment, but something like this isn't an offense enough for a President to be forced out.
