I am super happy with Billy Donovan hire but I bet Doc Rivers would have come home to Chicago in a heart beat.

Agreed

Pels reached out immediately. I doubt we can afford or would give him the control he wants, I sure hope we don't.

Pretty crazy stat...

Calipari has coached 56 players who played in the NBA and none of them ever won a title. That streak will come to an end with AD on the Lakers and Bam/Herro with the Heat.

Also, TIL Bam went to Kentucky.

As an LSU fan I'm surprised you didn't know that.

Going back to 1984, this year's NBA Finals will be the 37th straight Finals that a Shaq former teammate is in the Finals.

Heat down by 26

Their leading scorer for the playoffs was injured and is out the rest of the game.

Their best player tweaked an ankle and is hobbling around.

This is fine gif

Doc Rivers to the 76ers.

Ty Lue rumored to be the favorite for the Clippers.

KD and Irving say they don't see them having a head coach and that it will be a collaborated effort

There have been 3 players to record a 40 point triple double in a finals game. The logo Jerry West, LeBron James, and Jimmy Butler.

There have 3 players to score 40 in a finals game without taking a 3 in the 3 point era (1980). Shaq (5 times) Kareem, and Butler.

ESPN has tracked individual matchups since 2014. LeBron committed 6 turnovers tonight when guarded by Butler. That's the most he's committed in a playoff game vs a single defender.

Butler scored or assisted on 73 points. This is 2nd most in a finals game all time behind Walt Fraziers 74.

Butler is the 3rd player to score 40 in a finals game on 70%+ shooting. The other two are Wilt and Kyrie.

Jimmy Butler is the only player to outscore, outrebound, and outassist LeBron James in a finals game.

I love how every failed drive by LeBron he throws up his hands asking for the foul. It can be a fast break with nobody on his side of the court and he'll still beg for the foul

Man, either the season is about to be over, or we'll get a monster game 5 here.

Come on Heat!
