Dear God this Nebraska Baylor game is horrible.

My neighbor played baseball at Butler when Scott Drew was going to school there. He's got a couple good "Scott Drew got drunk and embarrassed himself" stories.

Duke is shooting 34% (17/50) on 50 attempts.

Duke is shooting 43% (13/30) from 3 on 30 attempts.

which means they are 4 of 20 on 2pt attempts... that's not an east thing to do

I laughed at these people putting Duke in the Final Four. I thought about Mercer but didn't pull the trigger; but I knew they'd not make it past the Sweet 16. They simply cannot defend.

I don't think any sane person would question Coach K, but I really don't understand an athletic ACC team taking that many 3-pt shots against a lower level NCAA team. I've read several tweets this morning that can't understand why Duke won't attack the basket. It seems to be their downfall every year (chucking up the 3 that much).

And you're right, that is probably the craziest statistic I've seen in a while. They're also outrebounding Mercer 35-24 and outrebounding in offensive boards 16-3. Bizarro-ball.

And it will suck if Parker leaves now after this.

I love it too, but no way anyone picked Mercer to upset Duke, no way!

Duke losing kills my bracket. Bit it is nice to see them lose to Mercer.

Some did. Like I said, I thought about it (after Lehigh a few years ago) but wasn't going to pull the trigger on that one. If I'd done an upset-heavy bracket I might have, but it wasn't one of those 1/16 or 2/15 or 3/14 games where I immediately move the higher seed. I actually spent a few min looking it over but figured Parker would just be too much for them to have a chance.

But once he got into foul trouble and Duke was missing layups, Mercer did a good job sticking to their gameplan.

almost picked Mercer due to being from Georgia and a Dookie hater. Good to see them reppin Georgia.
