It's buffalo... if i threw the ball i'd have ended up with like 130... but i might have gone overboard there. Was trying to finish the game, as Buffalo is BAD... like stop the spread in 4-6 bad. Apologies, I'll bench him for 2 or 3 games so the law of averages plays out. And you can get your frontrunner status back Jsence.jsence2 wrote:Ok, so I'm gonna say something here.
Part of the fun of these ODs is that we all compete against each other for awards in a friendly manner. We trust that we are all playing within the spirit of the game, even against the computer, and not abusing certain plays, or trying to drive up stats to an absolutely absurd level.
So when I look three weeks in and I see that a running back (and not even a REAL RB, but a WR who was moved to HB to take advantage of his 97 speed) has 17 rushing touchdowns and 8 receiving touchdowns, I think it's time that we re-evaluate some of the things that we're doing. It's one thing to do this and have some fun and compete for awards, but if you're doing so by abusing plays and handing the ball to a HB 48 times in a game you won by 75 points (while the backup had 4), and then you only throw the ball a few times and 3 of the 4 completions also go to the HB? C'mon, stop being stupid and play this stuff the right way.

I will admit i was going for the single game record by time i realized just how much damage he did.
Yeah i gave up that dream the moment FSU dropped 100 before me.jsence2 wrote:iRoccafella wrote:It's buffalo... if i threw the ball i'd have ended up with like 130... but i might have gone overboard there. I don't care if I win the award; but I DO care that it stay competitive for more than two weeks![]()
FSU has a guy in there, I think Oregon has a guy in there....again, it's just another thing that keeps things fun for all of us. But 10 touchdowns in one game makes you stop and say "whoa".
You can have the Heisman, just want it to stay competitive. There's a trophy I'm more interested in winning this year, it's made of crystal.

At this rate, Justin Hill is gonna enter the Heisman race.....23 tackles (18 solo), 12 TFL, 9 sacks, 2 FF through three games. I hope I DO get to hit FSU's quarterba.....I mean, play Chris this season.
