I don't get why game 1's are being played when we are on game 6 in another series. Does this normally happen or is this a bubble oddity?

Bubble oddity, they're not waiting on other games like usual.

not bubble oddity.. happens every year

Last year:

(2) Nuggets vs. (7) Spurs - Game 7 (1st Round)
April 27 Game 7

(2) Raptors vs. (3) 76ers - Game 1 (2nd round)
April 27 Game 1

Jamal Murray has more 50-point games this postseason than the entire NBA did from 2007-2016 postseasons.

Team Canada's finally getting some respectable pieces to a Silver at best winning team. Shai as well.

He's not missing any shot the rest of the postseason.

that game 1 ass beating was humbling even as a fan. Tatum is pretty good.

That was all CP3. As soon as he came out they fell apart.

The Rockets traded Chris Paul for a worse player in Westbrook and gave OKC assets to go with it

I'm gonna intentionally read too much into this and say this is a shot at Russ and Harden:

that CP3 quote gonna look good when Houston wins by 10+ in Game 7. Also Paul has 0 titles when he played on a stacked LAC team and a great Houston team so ya...

That Clippers team was really good but they were not stacked or ever the favorites. Houston took possibly the greatest team ever to 7 games and probably win if Paul does not get hurt. Yes he has no titles but he is a fucking stud.

I mean Pauls routinely been on teams in the top 5 in betting odds before the season started...

By making this a 7-game series, Chris Paul has officially lead the Oklahoma City Thunder further than Westbrook ever did without Kevin Durant.
In his very 1st series, no less.

and many of those teams made nice runs. The real stain on his playoff career was blowing the 3-1 lead to Houston in 2015 and blowing that 19 point 2nd half lead in game 6 I think. That was really bad. Other than that he has been awesome and lost to the better team probably every time.
