I will go on reign like rants when I hear people say nba players don’t play defense because generally speaking there couldn’t be anything further from the truth and I find it disrespectful to these dudes who are insanely talented ... but holy shit the defense since this restart has happened is freaking atrocious. I’ve seen multiple teams just not even attempt rotations or close outs and Pels are lucky to get back above half court on d.

I wonder if the lack of fans has an impact on effort. It shouldn’t and seems silly but at some point this has to feel like glorified practice for these guys

I will admit I am one of the ones that say defense in todays game sucks compared to the late 80's and 90's (the era I loved watching the NBA)
