Zion leaves the team for 5 days and they act like he had a near career ending injury.

He played 3 minutes then got pulled.

Didn't take long to get sports back and start complaining!

I know a lot about the nba and follow this shit religiously, I never in a million years thought I’d need the names on the jerseys. I know who guys are but it takes an extra second for some dudes and I never realized I was relying on names before now

Thought the same exact thing. Especially since a lot of dudes haven’t had a corona cut and new hair styles to get used to.

This is a rough watch. Really makes you look back and appreciate atmospheres and the impact on players and the “feel” of a game.

Zion just caught a monster alley oop and it had the feeling of a layup line dunk with no fans.

I like the piped in noise but it’s not good enough.

I can enjoy the game cause I love it so much but it’s rough

Do the players hear the fan noise or just the broadcast? MLS and MLB broadcasts I’ve watched have it on broadcast but have alternate ways to watch without it

I want to hear it without. I'd rather hear the players banter back and forth than some fake fan crap

I understand at the beginning of the season due to the foot injury. But hell, that thing should be well healed by now you'd think

I LOVE the roller coaster of Shel emotions when watching his teams. It is an absolute beautiful thing to watch from beginning to end

This is great guys, 2 rounds of tests over 2 weeks and not a single positive COVID test in the bubble. NBA is back, and we're rolling.

2020: Oh yea?

Spoiler!

I'm guessing there's a pretty good chance we'll see some canceled games this weekend.

David Griffin says Zion won't play more minutes next game and probably the one after that.

Looks like we've packed in and will treat these as 8 more scrimmages and let's get ready for next season. Yay!

Before yesterdays game he was listed on the Injury list as re-conditioning. I bet this is a bid at getting a higher pick as I don't see him not wanting or unable to play. Kid is an extremely gifted athlete and could probably put in 30+ minutes each game without any deterioration of his game play.

Of course, there's already reports today from media folks in the bubble that Zion is "pissed" about his limited role.

Pels are just cursed for eternity, that's all it is.
