Re: Slow-Moving Dynasty
I think weiser, that I didn't explain myself very well. For example here is how the schedule would work
National Championship game played
Instead of going through, transfers, recruiting weeks 1-5, cutting players, etc...we skip all of that and go directly into week 1 of next season. The advancement schedule would be Mondays and Thursdays?
Or
we do through the 24hr advancement of,transfers, recruiting weeks 1-5, cutting players, etc...upon completion of the off-season we advance Mondays and Thursdays and we see how far we get to completing the next season?

Re: Slow-Moving Dynasty
Or maybe I misunderstood.
This is what I think:
We advance through the off-season except that we should be able to keep players from leaving early, and cut players if need be because sometimes the cpu will cut highly rated players. We can do those 2 on 24 hour advance. After that, we can advance Monday and Thurs and that works for me. There really is no point to do the recruiting and also no point to worry about red shirt and stuff. We can adjust our depth chart from the dynasty menu so taht eliminated the pre-season stuff except if you need to adjust any schedules.

Re: Slow-Moving Dynasty
my vote is we do players leaving and player cuts and skip the rest.

I'm with you two...those are the two most important things.cnotes008 wrote:my vote is we do players leaving and player cuts and skip the rest.

Re: Slow-Moving Dynasty
Why would we skip off-season recruiting?
Re: Slow-Moving Dynasty
You know what, dak is right. We still have recruits we are trying to get during the season, and off-season, that we may use in our starting line ups. We may need to include those 5 weeks as well.
Re: Slow-Moving Dynasty
Plus there are always new players added to the recruit list that can't even be recruited in the fall.
Re: Slow-Moving Dynasty
come on guys, how many freshman are really gonna play on your top 10 ranked teams? I only have 2 freshman that start this season and my team sucks.
If you want to do offseason we should attempt the one night thing, otherwise we wont get the new season done.

Re: Slow-Moving Dynasty
My team is C+ rated, so really good freshmen do play, sometimes quite a bit (I had a great 90 spd freshman RB that went down for the season and it has sucked).
Re: Slow-Moving Dynasty
Thats fine, i dont care either way, but now the question that needs to be answered is who wants to get another season in? we wont start a new season till maybe june and the new game comes out 6 weeks or so later...we will never finish.
Now, I guess we need to see who can do all the offseason in 1 night, but thats still 2 weeks away (real time).

There you go Terps, you got your wish. Had to pull out a win against a tough USF team that the CPU just wanted to win. Oh well.
