In real life .. I'd say defense also can hold a runner from taking an extra base... cutting off a ball in the gap... having a runner think twice of tagging and attempting to score on a shallow fly...knocking down a ball up the middle ... none of which are actually "getting" an out .... not sure that all translates here tho

I just realized a 31 year streak of making the playoffs has come to an end. That is one hell of a run.

We also had a hell of a run of pre-7am sims. Was up to 17 days. Good run Billy

I agree with your points. However, with this guy i am referring to, he plays 3B so i don't think he has 'quite' that much impact

although he is 100% a DH....i am just hoping he doesn't kill me in the playoffs

File is uploaded, website updated. New in game date 10/1

Congrats to all teams that made the playoffs. Remember we are using Playoff Rosters now. The rule is a player must be on your active roster or DL by 8/31 to be eligible. Same rules as far as injuries before playoffs can be done between series.

If all playoff teams export I will be able to run the first round around 7-8 pm CST tonight

Man, as a bitter rival, even I actually kind of feel bad for you on this one. Not only is he out for the playoffs, but also the entirety of next season.

Apparently we were missing a tie-breaker play in game between Miami and Philly. I took us out of the playoffs, added the game to the schedule, and reuploaded. Billy said he cant run the sim for another 30 mins but I'm assuming hes going to wait for Seeit and Nick to export for the game. You'll need to re-downloaded if you've already downloaded the old file.
