Did the Bucs Dline really do anything different than any other Dline, including NYG, would do in a 3rd or 4th and inches situation?
Get low and drive the oline back.
The only difference was the team not ready for it. Again, that's not the Bucs fault.

A chop block is when someone is already engaged with another player and they then go for the legs, this was not that at all.
You can make the argument they weren't going for knees but were going for the ball which was just as low.

I have to play football to talk about football?
Do you want examples of players being outraged over getting hit in the knees by helmets/getting hit low? There are plenty.
You've got a bunch of guys lined up at the line of scrimmage, some are coming high, some are coming low. If the offensive line does that to a defensive player, it is a chop block. Why is it not reasonable to compare that when the defense does it?

a chop block is when one player engages, and another player cuts his knees out. What TB did was called cut blocking which is completely legal.

I said that I thought hitting the linemen low when there are also guys coming at them high
should be treated like chop blocking is treated when the offense does it.

when theres less than 2 minutes left in a football game, if the losing team is on defense, they shouldnt try to make a tackle. its bush league to try and get the ball back to win the game.
